Kumkum Bhagya 20th December 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with reporters asking why RV stopped, why he is not taking the last round, and why he is risking his life, especially when this marriage is a court order. They press him, asking if he’s willing to go to jail rather than marry, and the consequences of his actions. RV tells them to stop and says he is a human with feelings and emotions. He adds that not all situations can be seen from the same perspective. He says this is his family, and they are with him, as they cannot see him in trouble. Nethra suggests they should support them since the marriage is happening due to the court order, and they should be happy. She tells Pandit ji to start the last round. Poorvi arrives, shouting RV’s name, and tells him to stop the marriage. Harleen says Poorvi. Harman expresses relief that Poorvi has come. Dadi asks Pandit ji to pause as Poorvi wants to say something. Nethra wonders where Jassi and Monisha are, as Poorvi has arrived. Jassi enters behind Poorvi. Poorvi rushes to RV and asks if he is okay. RV asks where she had been and if she is fine. Poorvi says they will talk later and proceeds to untie the ghatbandhan, declaring the marriage will not happen.
Everyone is stunned. Jassi tries to sneak away but is caught by Khushi and Diya. Khushi says they will not let him go without revealing the truth. Dadu asks what truth? Diya replies that he has been troubling Poorvi. Khushi yanks his beard, revealing his face. The reporter clicks pictures and asks Poorvi how she will prove Nethra’s lie. Poorvi tells Yug to set up a big screen and call the police. Vikrant agrees to call the police. Poorvi says that today, everyone will know who was behind this scheme. Jassi tries to escape, but RV catches him and says the truth will be revealed. Jassi pleads his innocence but RV drags him into the house, vowing to hand him over to the police.
Yug brings the TV screen, and Poorvi asks Diya to connect her phone. Diya is confused, but Yug takes the phone and quickly connects it. Nethra begins to panic, suspecting Poorvi has recorded everything. Jassi feels uneasy, realizing that Poorvi may have evidence against them. Poorvi says Jassi’s truth will be exposed and asks Yug if everything is ready. Yug confirms it’s almost done. The police arrive, and Vikrant mentions he called them. Poorvi reveals that she had already contacted the police, wanting them to witness Nethra’s lies. RV asks if everything is ready.
Nethra interrupts, saying the truth is right before them. She insists that this marriage was happening due to the court order, as she was a victim. She claims RV molested her. Poorvi shouts, asking her to stop lying, and says she has played with everyone’s lives as a woman herself. She emphasizes that when something wrong happens to a woman, the law and society support her. Poorvi says that the same system supported Nethra, who made a mockery of it all. Nethra denies playing with anyone’s emotions, but Poorvi insists she is the liar. She accuses Nethra of lying from the beginning and reveals that she is the one who fabricated everything. She says the public thought RV molested her, but the truth is Nethra is doing all of this for money. She adds that Nethra is nothing but a bar dancer.
Nethra screams, saying enough, and refuses to let Poorvi insult her profession. She defends herself, saying she works as a bar dancer because she had no other choice, and it is a legitimate way to make a living. She claims that she was abandoned as a child by her mother, and her father remarried. She says that people told her she danced well, and that’s how she became a bar dancer out of necessity. Poorvi says there is always a way to earn an honest living, which can be found with hard work and dignity. She mentions a neighbor who, despite being helpless, worked hard, became a nurse, and succeeded. Poorvi argues that when someone is in need, it’s their mindset and character that decide whether they choose the right or wrong path. She tells Nethra that it’s not about the situation, but about the choices one makes.
Nethra interrupts, saying Poorvi has said enough. She accuses Poorvi of trying to make everyone believe she is the villain, but Poorvi rejects this, insisting that Nethra is the one lying. Khushi also shouts at Nethra, telling her not to speak to Poorvi that way. She asserts that Poorvi never accuses anyone without a reason and stands by her sister. Khushi reveals that she has seen Nethra’s true face, and Poorvi is only exposing it now. Nethra, feeling cornered, says that everyone else is just as guilty, and RV is no different. RV firmly tells her to stop blaming others to cover up her own wrongdoings. He adds that he is not like her, and no one here has done what she’s accusing them of.
Nethra accuses RV of killing her boyfriend, Sahil, and claims that he was involved in sending goons to murder him. RV denies it, saying she is lying. Nethra insists that she is telling the truth and demands that RV be arrested for his crimes. Poorvi, in a protective tone, yells at Nethra not to speak against her husband, asserting that RV is innocent and truthful. She defends her husband’s character, saying that the world will soon see the truth through the video, and Nethra’s lies will be exposed. Nethra tries to stop the video from playing, but Harleen and Vaishali intervene. Meanwhile, Deepika searches for Monisha, who is tied to a table, her hands taped. Deepika frees her and mentions that Poorvi is about to reveal the substantial video that will expose Nethra’s lies. Monisha is shocked to hear this.
