Kumkum Bhagya 18th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Neha asking Sahil if everything is fine. Sahil replies, “Nothing is fine, Poorvi knows about Neha.” Jassi adds, “Poorvi knows Neha doesn’t have a boyfriend.” Neha agrees, and Sahil reveals, “Poorvi knows I’m your boyfriend, Neha. She recognized me and even talked to me at the restaurant.” Neha gets anxious and asks, “What did she say?” Sahil explains, “She was trying to convince me to help her in RV’s case, but I scared her off by threatening to file a case against her if she approached me again.” Neha sighs, “You shouldn’t have done that.” Jassi and Sahil ask why, looking puzzled.
Meanwhile, RV arrives home and asks Poorvi if she’s alright. Poorvi, feeling distressed, says, “No, nothing is fine. Why didn’t you pick up my calls? I needed you, RV. I tried talking to Neha’s boyfriend, but he threatened me and left. I feel helpless. How am I supposed to prove you innocent and save you from Neha’s conspiracy?” She breaks down in tears, and RV hugs her, comforting her. Diya and Yug look on as *Chal Tere Ishq Mein* plays softly in the background.
Back at Neha’s place, she tells Sahil, “When Poorvi accused me of ruining RV’s life and filing a fake case to marry him, you should’ve told her that you don’t care and that we’re not in touch.” Jassi interjects, “Why would he do that?” Monisha, who overhears, steps in and says, “We wanted Poorvi to think you have a boyfriend, Neha, so she would sign the divorce papers. The plan worked.” Neha nods, saying, “Yes, she believed I had a boyfriend and signed the papers, letting our engagement happen.” Monisha adds, “Now, the problem is, if Poorvi learns that you’re still with Sahil, she might start suspecting something bigger—like someone else being involved in manipulating the situation.”
Jassi laughs and praises Neha, “Wow, Neha, you’re sharper than we thought.” Sahil reassures everyone, “Don’t worry, I’ve handled Poorvi, and we’re still on track. We’re going to win.” They all agree, shaking hands, with Monisha commenting, “Let’s just hope everything goes as planned in court.”
At RV’s home, he continues comforting Poorvi, saying, “I know what you’re going through and how much you’re fighting for me. We’ve already won, Poorvi. We’re together, and that’s a victory in itself.” Poorvi, still worried, says, “What do you mean? I’m always with you, RV.” He responds, “I’m afraid that one day you might think I’m not worth it.” She smiles softly and says, “When a girl gets married, she’s given the strength to bear anything her husband does. I’ll bear anything for you, RV.” She expresses her anxiety about the upcoming court hearing, and RV assures her, “Stay strong, Poorvi. Everything will be fine. You’re my strength.”
The next day at court, Jassi, disguised as a Sardar, teases Monisha, saying, “I’ve come to witness the drama. Best of luck!” Monisha exchanges a glance with Neha and walks away. Meanwhile, Sahil waits in his car. Diya informs Poorvi that Khushi is worried about her. Poorvi promises to speak with Khushi after the hearing and assures her that everything will get sorted.
RV’s family, including Dadu, Dadi, Harman, and Harleen, arrive at the courthouse. Dadu asks everyone to trust in God, and Harman remains hopeful, saying, “We’ll fight this case and win.” Deepika expresses how embarrassing the situation is, saying, “I never imagined we’d end up in court like this.” Jaswant tries to reassure her, while Yug adds, “Nethra is only after RV because she wants to marry him.” Vikrant chimes in, “Let’s see what the lawyer has in store for us today.”
The judge arrives, and the courtroom proceedings begin. RV’s lawyer introduces himself, stating that he’ll be defending RV. Neha’s lawyer presents the case, accusing RV of molestation and attempted sexual assault. RV’s lawyer argues that the accusations are false. The judge allows Neha’s lawyer to proceed, and he brings up the fact that Poorvi, RV’s wife, had promised to help Neha marry RV and even got their divorce processed for the engagement. The judge asks if this is true, and RV’s lawyer responds that forced relationships are wrong.
Neha’s lawyer admits that while the situation arose from difficult circumstances, Neha is still happy with the outcome. The judge turns to Neha and asks, “Are you truly happy?” Neha, with a confident smile, says, “Yes, I am happy.”
