Kumkum Bhagya 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Diya stepping out of an auto in front of the hotel. She pays the driver and notices Neha and Sahil walking together, hand in hand. She thinks to herself, *They were fighting just yesterday, and now they look so close.* Meanwhile, Deepika approaches Poorvi and asks her what she’s doing there. Poorvi replies, “I’m cooking.” Deepika, puzzled, says, “Why are you making food? Go do something else.” Harleen then arrives and steps in, saying, “Poorvi is making food for RV. Let her continue.” She turns to Deepika and suggests, “Come with me.”
Diya calls Poorvi and informs her, “I just saw Neha with her boyfriend again. They’re together.” Poorvi, realizing the seriousness, responds, “You did well to inform me. We need to talk to him and make Neha understand that she shouldn’t continue like this.” She assures Diya that she’s on her way. Harleen notices Poorvi leaving and calls out to her, but Poorvi doesn’t respond and quickly exits.
Elsewhere, Sahil tells Neha, “You were right to invite Jassi and Monisha here. I don’t like others coming to your house. Meeting here at the restaurant is better.”
In the meantime, RV pulls his car over to take a phone call. As he talks, he notices Monisha sitting in a car nearby with Jassi approaching her. Suspicious, RV thinks, *What’s Monisha doing with Jasbir? Something’s definitely up.* Monisha gestures for Jassi to sit down as she drives off. Jassi, feeling relaxed, says, “I’m not worried anymore. That joker Sahil is on our side.” Monisha adds, “I’m glad he’s with us. I don’t want anything messing up our plans.” Jassi reassures her, “Trust me, there won’t be any obstacles.” He cranks up the music, enjoying the ride. Monisha pulls over and tells Jassi to go inside, saying she’ll park the car and follow. But as she’s about to park, she spots RV approaching and thinks, *Was he following me?* Nervous, she tries to compose herself. RV gets out of his car and walks towards her.
Monisha quickly hugs RV and pretends everything is fine. He asks, “Who were you with?” Monisha, trying to play it off, replies, “Who do you mean?” RV, not buying it, says, “I saw you with Jasbir. You know who he is. Why would you let him in your car?” Monisha, feigning innocence, says, “I had no choice. I wanted to protect you from Neha, not like that Poorvi who seeks publicity.” She continues her act, saying she even hired a private detective to gather information on Neha and Jassi but didn’t get any useful help. RV, now convinced, says, “Don’t worry. Jasbir won’t do anything for me. You’re doing your best.” Monisha, relieved, says she’ll head to the office. RV nods, still a bit uneasy, and watches her leave.
Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, Jassi notices Diya spying on Sahil and Neha. He immediately warns Neha, “Poorvi’s sister is keeping an eye on you. You need to separate from Sahil now.” Neha, startled, asks, “Who’s spying on us?” Jassi whispers, “Diya.” He then tells her to act as if they’re strangers. Neha quickly informs Sahil, “Poorvi’s sister is watching us. We need to split up.” Sahil suggests, “You leave through the front; I’ll take the back.” Diya watches them part ways in opposite directions.
Poorvi arrives just then. Diya, noticing Sahil, asks Poorvi, “Who should we follow?” Poorvi decides, “Go after Sahil.” Diya responds, “I’ll call Yug since his gym is nearby.”
Jassi, in the meantime, warns Sahil that Poorvi is on his tail. Sahil hides behind a table, but Poorvi spots him. She confronts him, “Why are you hiding if you’ve done nothing wrong? Only those who commit crimes or sins hide like this.” Sahil, stepping out from his hiding spot, retorts, “Neither Neha nor I have done anything wrong. She’s being falsely accused.” Poorvi, trying to reason with him, says, “You don’t know what’s really going on. Neha is ruining lives.” Sahil, defending Neha, says, “I won’t let you speak ill of her. She’s not in the wrong.”
Poorvi, determined, tells him, “You’re being used, and Neha is being manipulated. My family is suffering because of all this, and RV is being dragged into it. Please, I need your help to prove the truth.” Sahil, refusing to listen, says, “I won’t help you go against Neha. If you try anything again, I’ll make sure to testify in court that you’re pressuring me to drop the case. You could end up in jail trying to save your husband.” He storms off, leaving Poorvi shocked and disheartened.
RV calls Poorvi, but she hesitates, thinking, *How can I tell him that I failed?* Just then, Diya and Yug call out to her, but Poorvi doesn’t respond and drives away, leaving them confused. Yug asks, “Why did she leave?” Diya shrugs, “I don’t know.”
Monisha calls Jassi, checking in. Jassi smugly says, “Thanks to me, I spotted Poorvi and her sister before they could do anything.” Monisha updates him on how RV confronted her and how she managed to deflect suspicion. Jassi, impressed, asks, “But why didn’t you call me sooner?” Monisha replies, “I tried, but you didn’t pick up. RV almost found out the truth, but I managed to cover it up.” Meanwhile, Neha, worried, asks, “Where’s Sahil?” Just then, Sahil walks in and says, “I have some shocking news—Poorvi knows that I’m Neha’s boyfriend.” Both Neha and Jassi are stunned.
