Kumkum Bhagya 16th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with RV stating that he is neither an angel nor a protection shield for Poorvi; otherwise, she would be with them. Diya reassures him that Di trusts him a lot and believes he will find her. Yug admires Diya for how she stands up to RV. RV instructs the ACP to stop the car, insisting they will get out here. The ACP protests, mentioning that their house is far away and there’s no police station nearby. RV replies that he knows the area and points out that there are three roads from here. He insists they will search for Poorvi. The ACP offers to join them, and RV thanks him before they all get out. Yug asks what their plan is, and Diya states they need to find Di. Meanwhile, Poorvi sees smoke and hopes someone might be nearby to help her. She approaches the source but finds no one, only some empty food boxes, leading her to conclude someone had been there but had just left. She prays for help and hears a phone notification sound; she finds a phone and expresses her gratitude for its discovery.
Jassi is on the phone with Sahil, revealing that he knows about the bald guy Sahil sent and how his marriage was halted at the fourth round. Sahil responds that it’s for the best, as good things happened with Poorvi, and even better things happened for Jassi, suggesting that if he had married her, he would have become a widower. Sahil mentions he has contracted Mathew to kill Poorvi, emphasizing that Mathew enjoys killing her in various ways and that Jassi will be unaware of her fate. Jassi warns Sahil that if anything happens to Poorvi, he will come after both him and Mathew. Just then, Jassi’s uncle and aunt arrive, asking if he is ready to leave.
Yug and Diya bicker as RV scolds Yug, insisting they split up to cover more ground. He instructs them to spread out and call him if they find Poorvi. Diya agrees, while Yug suggests they should remain on a conference call. RV tells them to go ahead and call, and they initiate the call. Poorvi tries to call RV, who hesitates to answer and decides to pick it up later. Poorvi wonders why he’s ignoring her calls and sends him a message. RV reads her text, which expresses her frustration over his lack of response, indicating he should just throw his phone if he doesn’t want to pick up. Yug jokes about who could scold RV like that, and RV reveals that the message is from Poorvi. Poorvi tells him that he used to come and save her before marriage, implying he should now pick up the call as she desperately needs his help.
Mathew, armed with a sword, searches for Poorvi along the road. Meanwhile, RV tries to call her again. Mathew hears the call and realizes Poorvi has managed to find a phone. Poorvi picks up the call and exclaims RV’s name. RV apologizes for missing her earlier call, and she pleads for him to come save her. RV asks her to describe her surroundings, and she mentions that she is surrounded by jungle. RV suggests there might be unusual landmarks, and Poorvi spots a bench with two streetlights and reads the name “Shri Suresh Tripathi” engraved on it. Just then, she catches sight of Mathew and urges RV to hurry because someone is trying to kill her. RV stresses the urgency of finding Poorvi and instructs his companions to come along.
Neha regains consciousness, and Sahil hugs her, asking if she’s alright. Neha affirms that she is but asks for water. Sahil vows not to let the person who harmed her go free and seeks revenge against Poorvi. Neha interrupts, insisting Poorvi isn’t to blame; Monisha is the real culprit. She explains how RV had contacted her, offering a large sum to reveal the truth, but Monisha intervened, causing her to faint. Neha accuses Monisha of being the one who hurt her. Sahil is stunned by this revelation.
As Poorvi hides, Mathew taunts her over the phone, claiming to be close to her and threatening that wild animals might get to her first. He revels in his obsession with killing and insists that her death is inevitable. Poorvi is terrified.
Neha chastises Sahil for his actions, questioning what they would gain from killing Poorvi. Sahil defends himself, explaining that Monisha had convinced him that Poorvi was responsible for Neha’s condition, prompting him to offer Mathew money to carry out the hit. Neha is horrified and argues that they missed out on RV’s offer and Jassi’s money. She laments their lost chances and the fact that they had hoped to use the money to set up a life together.
Meanwhile, RV, Diya, and Yug make their way into the jungle. RV confirms that they’ve arrived at the location Poorvi described. He notices traces of petrol on the ground and they disembark. Diya wonders how they will proceed with their search. RV, feeling desperate, appeals to God, questioning why he is being tested. He expresses concern about what Poorvi might endure and pleads for her safety, recalling how she risked everything to save him.
