Kumkum Bhagya 16th December 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode starts with Monisha telling Nethra that a human should never be proud, and if they don’t wipe off their ego, they might get wiped off instead. Jassi strikes Nethra on the head with a rod. Nethra falls unconscious. Jassi asks Monisha to call her sister and says that she will take her down. She asks if she has bridal clothes. Monisha replies that she doesn’t do anything without planning, and she has already prepared for this. She says Nethra’s pride/ego will break today. Jassi agrees and says it is already broken. Poorvi and RV are hugging and crying. Poorvi notices Diya. Diya says sorry for disturbing them but mentions Kashish and Nethra. RV urges her to speak. Poorvi asks if Nethra has done something to make Kashish leave. Diya says Nethra manipulated Kashish with lies. She says that Nethra first told Kashish to refuse the marriage, then threatened and scared her, even holding a knife to her neck. RV remarks that Kashish doesn’t seem scared. Diya explains that Nethra played the victim card, claiming everyone wronged her and that she was pregnant with Jiju’s child. Poorvi is shocked. RV says Nethra is really pregnant. Poorvi asks if Kashish agreed to all of this. Diya confirms and says Kashish now feels they have been unjust to Nethra. Diya adds that Kashish is her friend, but Nethra has ruined their plan in minutes. RV says there is nothing left to do, as Nethra will marry him now.

Deepika brings Monisha, veiled, to the venue. Diya wonders why Nethra is in a veil. Deepika explains that Pandit ji asked to bring the bride in a veil. She urges RV to join them as the ceremony has to proceed. Vaishali questions Harleen about why they are here, wondering how RV’s wedding to Nethra is still happening despite their efforts. Harleen sighs, saying she has to watch her son’s life be ruined. Vaishali agrees with a heavy heart. Deepika brings the veiled bride to the mandap. RV and Poorvi follow them. Vaishali looks at the bride and wonders if this is truly Nethra. She tries to see the bride’s face. RV and Monisha sit at the mandap. Poorvi and RV exchange glances as a song plays, and RV recalls their moments together. Vaishali gets more suspicious. She asks Pandit ji for some ghee, deliberately falling to get a better look at the bride. Monisha tries to hide her face, grinning. Vaishali is stunned to see Monisha under the veil. Nethra, still semi-conscious, sees Jassi’s face and closes her eyes. Jassi locks her in the cupboard, gagging and tying her hands.

Monisha is elated about marrying RV. She feels like she’s finally getting what she deserves, even though it took longer than expected. She thinks she’ll be able to explain later that she married RV only to save him from Nethra. Vaishali tells Harleen that Nethra isn’t in the mandap with RV. Harleen asks if it’s Nethra’s ghost. Vaishali clarifies that Monisha is under the veil. Harleen is stunned. Vaishali explains she fell down on purpose to catch a glimpse of Monisha. Harleen asks if this is some joke. Vaishali says it’s Monisha who’s marrying RV, not Nethra. Deepika overhears and tells them to follow her.

Harleen asks Deepika why she brought her here. Deepika responds that Vaishali was saying something. Harleen asks if Deepika knows anything about it. Deepika says that at least Monisha is marrying RV now, and he is saved from Nethra. Harleen asks why. Deepika praises Monisha, saying she’s proud of her sister. She claims Monisha is marrying RV to protect him, unlike Poorvi, who just talks without taking action. Vaishali agrees with her. Deepika then shares how she made Nethra unconscious, putting herself at risk. Harleen asks about RV and Monisha’s wedding. Deepika explains that RV and Poorvi are divorced, and it’s fine for Monisha to marry him now. She adds that they were hoping for this outcome, and that if RV had married Nethra, things would have been much worse. She says nobody could love RV the way Monisha does. Vaishali agrees.

Nethra regains consciousness and finds herself trapped in the cupboard. She realizes Monisha must have done this and is probably at the mandap marrying RV. Pandit ji urges RV and the bride to hold each other’s hands and offer a prayer. They both join hands and offer flowers. Pandit ji asks Poorvi to bring pure ghee. Poorvi agrees, but Diya questions why she’s going to make things easier for them. Poorvi says it’s because there’s media present. Diya suggests they should cause a delay in the marriage to buy some time. Poorvi suggests they make the mandap’s matka fall down to create an abshagun and stop the wedding. Diya agrees that it’s a perfect plan.

RV notices Harleen, Vaishali, and Deepika approaching and wonders why they’re all smiling. Monisha starts worrying that the marriage might not happen quickly without ghee. RV thinks about the situation, realizing Poorvi is helping to delay things, and wonders why she’s doing this for him. He’s torn between gratitude and confusion. He asks Monisha why she’s smiling, but she doesn’t respond. She’s worried that if she reveals herself, RV might question her about Nethra’s whereabouts. She hopes the ceremony will proceed swiftly.
