Vandy tells Babita that they have a roof over their heads because of Amruta; otherwise, they would be living as Priyanka’s servants. “You all are so thankless, even after everything she has done,” she says. Bebe comments that they are ill-mannered. Babita responds, stating they are cheap people, so what else can you expect from them? Vandy retorts that cheap people are homeless, which is your situation, not mine. “I am not living here as a freeloader; you have to follow our rules,” she asserts. Virat and Amruta arrive, and Virat calms Bebe down, suggesting they need space and will have to adjust. Amruta proposes that they can give another room to Bebe, Babita, and Nimi. Virat suggests Bhavani and Vandy can adjust in Jahan’s room, while he can sleep in the living room. Jahan protests, saying they can’t let him sleep on the floor. Virat insists he can’t let his mother-in-law sleep on the floor. Jahan teasingly asks if he is trying to win her heart. Virat replies that he hopes he can do that, prompting a smile from Amruta. He then takes Bebe away. Vandy thinks she can’t let Bhavani have a liking for Virat.
Harsh sets up Amruta and Virat’s mattresses in the living room and tells them to rest before leaving. Virat thanks Amruta, saying he owes her. She playfully responds that he will need to repay her with interest, so he shouldn’t worry. Virat expresses his concern about being homeless and having no money now, and he is grateful that Bhavani allowed them to stay. Amruta reassures him that they are together and will figure something out. Virat then admits, “I have to tell you something… I can’t win over Bhavani.” Amruta laughs and reminds him that she is her favorite, so he will have to fight for second place. She exits the room. Virat declares he will become her favorite since he is her son-in-law. Vandy appears and tells him he is just a guest here and should act like one; she will never let him fool Bhavani. She leaves, and Amruta returns, suggesting they should sleep now. He settles on the couch while Amruta sleeps on the floor. He thinks he needs to figure something out soon to resolve the issue.
As Virat tries to sleep, he turns to see Amruta sleeping peacefully and smiles, reaching out to touch her hand. He holds her hand but quickly pulls away when he hears Dildar talking. Amruta wakes up and goes to check on Babita, who is complaining about mosquitoes. Virat apologizes for his family’s worries. She explains that they are not used to living like this, so it will take them some time to adjust. As she goes to grab a mosquito repellent, Virat holds her hand and moves closer, but they hear Babita scream, causing them to pull away. Virat asks if Babita is okay and fetches the repellent for her. Amruta wonders what is happening between them and what Virat was doing. When he returns, he asks if she is sleeping, to which she replies she is trying to. He suggests they talk since he can’t sleep. Harsh interrupts, saying he wants to sleep, so they should be quiet. Virat sighs and goes back to sleep.
In the morning, Amruta wakes up to find Virat helping Jahan prepare breakfast, which surprises her. Virat expresses his gratitude to Bhavani for letting them stay and offers her breakfast. Bhavani watches quietly.
