Jhanak 4th January 2025 Written Episode
The episode begins with Vihaan asking Akshat to take note of the truck number. The truck driver denies any involvement. Vihaan turns to Jhanak and asks if she remembers anything now. Jhanak thinks for a moment but stays silent. Vihaan tells her not to stress and to come with him. Akshat suggests they go to Vihaan’s house. Jhanak recalls Anirudh and Arshi and feels a sense of sadness but decides to go with Vihaan. Vihaan asks her if she trusts him. Jhanak replies that she has no other choice but to trust him. She agrees to go with Vihaan in his car.
Lalon speaks to Tanuja and Shubh, explaining that Appu hasn’t received family love and care because her parents are poor. He emphasizes that they need to look after Appu’s diet for her survival, noting that everyone is aware of her condition. Appu says she won’t be alive much longer. Lalon quickly clarifies he didn’t mean that. Tanuja, unable to cook anything, asks Shubh to order food. Lalon refuses to eat, stating there’s no time for that. He urges them to come home with him, leaving the decision up to them. Shubh then asks Lalon if he plans to return the Bose house to them. Lalon refuses, saying that although Anuradha wanted him to return it to Shubh, he won’t do so. He tells Shubh he can live in the Bose house for as long as he wants but will give the property to Appu’s parents instead. Shubh is visibly upset.
Vihaan observes Jhanak as she cares for the baby and asks her to give the baby to him. Jhanak insists the baby is sleeping and she’ll hold onto her for now. Vihaan offers to get her something to eat, but Jhanak declines. Vihaan and Akshat then go to have tea. Akshat asks Vihaan what he plans to tell his family. Vihaan says he will tell them the truth about finding Jhanak. Akshat advises him to say nothing, reminding him that his family has planned everything to welcome him and his wife. Vihaan says he’s about to ruin their happiness, but he has no other choice. Akshat then asks about Vihaan’s wife. Vihaan, sounding sorrowful, mentions that she died in a flight accident. Akshat suggests he remarry for the sake of his baby, but Vihaan refuses to move on. Akshat encourages him, but Vihaan remains downcast. Meanwhile, Vihaan’s mother, Ketki, is seen preparing eagerly for his return, rushing to make arrangements. Appu, in the meantime, complains about her parents suffering. She says that Anjana won’t do household chores and that Tanuja should handle them instead. Shubh tries to reason with her, mentioning that he has no work or money. Lalon, however, refuses to return the money to him, saying it’s his father’s money. Shubh clarifies that he didn’t ask for money. Lalon insists they come with him if they want, stating he will wait outside before leaving. Shubh tells Tanuja to pack their bags, deciding to return home.
Mittal scolds the goons, wondering where Jhanak has gone. He warns them not to speak in front of Kul Bhushan. Kul Bhushan enters the room and asks about Jhanak. Mittal lies to him, but Kul Bhushan checks her room and finds it empty. He demands to know where she is. One of the goons reveals how Jhanak managed to escape. Kul Bhushan reprimands them for their negligence and grows anxious. He fears everything will be ruined if Jhanak goes to the police and files a complaint. He starts devising a story to save himself from the police.
Akshat brings Vihaan and Jhanak to his home. Vihaan asks Jhanak what her name is, but she hesitates and considers giving a fake name. Akshat asks his wife to prepare some food. Jhanak tells them she has no place to go. Vihaan reassures her that while they cannot change the past, they can focus on the future. Akshat then tells Jhanak about the accident, explaining how Vihaan lost his wife. Vihaan shares that he met Avni in the US, fell in love with her, and married her, but his family initially rejected their love because of their orthodox values.
Akshat adds that Vihaan’s family still believes his wife is alive, despite never having seen her. He then proposes that Jhanak pretend to be Vihaan’s wife for a while. Jhanak is taken aback by this suggestion. Akshat clarifies that she only needs to act as his wife for a short period and look after the baby. Vihaan reassures her that it’s just temporary and tries to convince her to go along with it.
