Jhanak 4th December 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Choton approaching Anirudh and informing him about Jhanak. Arshi enters and overhears their conversation. Anirudh says, “I couldn’t do anything when Urvashi passed away, and now, when Brij is gone, I feel helpless again. Jhanak is all alone, and I feel so useless.” Arshi wonders what they are discussing about Jhanak, as she has no idea what’s going on. Choton replies, “You are with Jhanak, there’s still time. Hold her hand and fulfill your duty.” Anirudh responds, “No, she will reject me.” Arshi thinks to herself, Anirudh doesn’t want to stay with Jhanak, so why did he bring her here then? Choton advises, “To ease sorrow, there are two ways: patience or moving on.” Anirudh replies, “Arshi didn’t do anything wrong. She loves me a lot, and she’s also my responsibility.” Choton says, “I don’t know, but Jhanak…” Anirudh interrupts, “I love Jhanak. Arshi is a good girl, but I don’t know when I fell in love with Jhanak.” Arshi hears this and is overcome with emotion. Anirudh continues, “I’ve wronged Arshi, and I carry this guilt.” Choton advises, “A good person loves only once in his life. Arshi is a good girl, maybe you never loved her, but perhaps Jhanak is your true love. Take my advice—never leave Jhanak alone.” Anirudh says, “I will try my best, but if she leaves me…” Choton insists, “You need to stop her. You were married to Jhanak, fix your broken marriage.” Arshi overhears this and is shocked. Anirudh asks, “But what about Arshi?” Choton replies, “Your marriage to Arshi was never formalized, no registration, no rituals. Do you consider Arshi your wife? Answer me.” Anirudh stays silent, lost in thought. Arshi leaves in tears.
Kajal comes home and gives Lalon the money. She says, “Here’s 20,000 rupees for both of you. I know it’s not much, but it’s something for now.” Appu chimes in, “I got money for singing!” Kajal replies, “You sang so well yesterday, everyone was praising you. More programs will come your way. Lalon used to sing alone before, but now you’ll sing with him.” Appu proudly agrees. Lalon thanks her. Jhimli remarks, “Now we won’t have to eat just boiled potatoes.” Anuradha scolds her for being rude.
Jhimli, upset, turns to Appu, saying, “How long can we remain patient in this poverty? Your family took our property, and you’re here.” Appu feels hurt. Tanuja comforts Arshi, who is crying. Arshi says, “My mom is getting blamed for everything. Jhanak has done this, and now Dad doesn’t trust her. He’s going for Brij’s last rites.” Arshi adds, “It’s impossible to keep Jhanak away from Anirudh. He likes to torment my mom. I’ve never hurt anyone, but Jhanak ruined my life. Why?” Bipasha assures her, “I promise you, I will make sure Jhanak is out of your life very soon.”
Jhimli lashes out, blaming Appu’s family for their misfortune. Lalon asks, “What do you want me to do? Should I beg them?” Jhimli argues bitterly. Lalon then asks Bipasha, “What will you do?” Bipasha says, “I’ll use Aditya this time. Once he learns what happened here, he’ll rush to help, and I’ll make sure the news reaches him.” Arshi speaks angrily about Jhanak, and Bipasha promises to handle it.
Appu, confused, asks why Jhimli is angry. Lalon tells her, “Don’t let her words bother you.” Appu looks down, clearly hurt. Kajal reassures her, saying, “You will be Lalon’s wife forever, don’t be sad.” Lalon adds, “This issue between Kul and Brij’s families has nothing to do with your mom.” Arshi says, “Jhanak will just lie again. The court verdict hasn’t come yet, but I’ll never accept Jhanak as my sister.” Tanuja responds, “This won’t happen.” Bipasha vows, “I’ll put a big accusation on Jhanak. She’ll have no choice but to leave. In seven days, we’ll celebrate—Jhanak will be out of your life, Arshi.”
Meanwhile, Jhanak and the family perform Brij’s last rites. Anirudh consoles her.
