Jhanak 3rd September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Arshi telling Jhanak that they no longer need her and that it’s difficult to tolerate her and her accusations against Ani. She demands that Jhanak leave, threatening to call the police. Jhanak boldly challenges her, saying she didn’t call the police out of consideration for them, but if Anirudh had just accepted the truth, things wouldn’t have escalated this far. She acknowledges that they may not have any relationship, but insists that Arshi should give her baby a name since she is Anirudh’s wife and Jhanak’s sister. She tells Arshi to think carefully about what she wants to do. Arshi retorts, saying Jhanak thinks she’s clever. Jhanak responds that if she were truly clever, she wouldn’t have been deceived. She declares that she has the courage to fight and that while she has no interest in her father, she wants justice for her mother’s death and will claim her baby’s rights. Anirudh tries to defend himself, insisting nothing happened between them, leading to an argument. Jhanak accuses him of cheating her, while she remains honest. She asks why he always insults her and questions who gave him the right to do so. Anirudh accuses her of lying, but Jhanak remains firm, stating that the truth won’t change no matter what he says. She vows to return and prove that the baby is his.
Meanwhile, Lalon is dancing with everyone at his house. Anuradha applies haldi to him. Jhanak comments that she thought Mrinalini got married into the Bose family. Mrinalini explains that Choton didn’t want to marry her, and she didn’t want to marry him either, adding that she’s not desperate to marry someone who isn’t important enough to upset her. Jhanak, however, suggests that Mrinalini is indeed upset. Mrinalini then mentions that Arshi is married to Anirudh. Jhanak points out that their marriage isn’t complete. Mrinalini expresses disappointment in Anirudh, while Jhanak defends Choton. Mrinalini notes that she earns her own living and has never asked Choton to provide for her.
Jhanak asserts that if she had wanted, she could have stopped Anirudh and Arshi from getting married. She believes Anirudh wronged her, but she doesn’t want to punish his family since Anjana, Bablu, and Choton care for her deeply. That’s why she came there, she adds. Mrinalini responds that she came only because Anjana invited her. Jhanak questions if that’s the only reason, implying Mrinalini respects them as well. Mrinalini agrees, saying there’s nothing more to it. Meanwhile, Lalon jokes with Choton about how they are bathing him with haldi. Choton laughs and joins in. Jhanak advises Mrinalini not to misunderstand Choton and that marrying him is her decision. Mrinalini retorts, asking why she would marry a coward who first pursued her and then backed out. Choton overhears their conversation. Jhanak asks if he ever promised her anything. Mrinalini says a promise wasn’t necessary; Choton showed interest in her, but then she realized he lacked the courage. She accuses him of embarrassing her. Jhanak tries to assure her that one day she will understand that Choton is a good man.
Choton later talks to Anuradha, who shares a story about her husband. Jhanak asks Anuradha if she knows the names of his friends. Anuradha admits she doesn’t, saying that since they moved to this area, his friends stopped visiting. Jhanak suggests that while they might not be able to repay his friends monetarily, they can at least ensure they get justice. Anuradha reminisces about their earlier life, saying they were happy living off her husband’s honest earnings until an unfortunate accident changed everything.
Choton tries to comfort her, saying that life will go on and that she shouldn’t worry too much. He reassures her that her true wealth is her son, Lalon. Anuradha agrees, saying she just wants Lalon to live a happy life. Mrinalini advises Anuradha to take good care of Appu, noting that she is a kind and nice girl. Anuradha promises to do so, adding that Lalon agreed to the marriage because he sees the goodness in Appu. She then sends Chimli to fetch Kajal, but Chimli returns saying Kajal isn’t coming and suggests that Anuradha call her instead. Curious, Jhanak asks who Kajal is. Anuradha explains that Kajal is Chimli’s good friend and a school teacher who might be busy, which is why she hasn’t shown up. Anuradha then offers to go get some sweets. Mrinalini reminds them that they need to take haldi for Appu. Anuradha agrees but insists they have some sweets first. Lalon playfully asks Jhanak to apply haldi to him.
Choton then approaches Mrinalini, telling her that had she married him, she would have faced constant humiliation and taunts from others. He advises her to find someone better to marry, as he’s considering moving to Delhi to start something new. Concerned, Mrinalini scolds him for his decision. At that moment, Anirudh arrives and calls out to Choton, noticing Jhanak. Lalon invites Anirudh to join them and asks everyone to sing. As they do, Jhanak stumbles and falls into Anirudh’s arms, leaving everyone watching in surprise.
