Anuradha arrives at the Bose house to arrange the marriage of Lalan and Appu. Appu’s mother expresses her sorrow, reminiscing about her struggles in raising her son. However, Shubha and Tanuja oppose the marriage taking place in the Bose house. Although Appu’s grandfather approves the proposal, her grandmother refuses to give her blessing, leaving Chhoton and Appu deeply upset. Both Lalan and his mother face insults from the elder members of the Bose family, causing Anuradha to feel humiliated. She opens up about the hardships they have faced, recounting how they lost everything in the past.

Anuradha shares that once, they had it all, but Lalan’s father was betrayed by a business partner, leading to their downfall. Shubho feels uneasy hearing her words. Meanwhile, Anirudh also arrives and learns that the elders have decided to cancel Appu’s marriage, which was supposed to be held in the house. Anirudh becomes furious, refusing to disregard his sister’s wishes. Although Lalan and his mother are offered a cup of tea, they refuse, feeling too insulted to stay.

While most family members continue to oppose holding the marriage in the Bose house, Jhanak unexpectedly steps in, insisting that the marriage will indeed take place there. Arshi warns Jhanak about her boldness, while Tanuja and Shubho are taken aback by Jhanak’s determination. Jhanak emphasizes the importance of Appu’s happiness. Unable to tolerate Jhanak any longer, Arshi, who has often accused Jhanak of using excuses to remain in the house, tries to corner her. Jhanak raises her voice in protest. As Lalan and his mother prepare to leave, they ask Appu’s parents to set a wedding date and inform them, promising to attend.

After Lalan leaves, Arshi feels overshadowed by Jhanak, who has been receiving more attention. Frustrated, she decides to return to Shristi’s home, with Aniruddha wanting to join her. Jhanak, however, promises that she will leave the house after Appu’s marriage. She calls Aniruddha shameless for denying the truth, even though he knows it.

A heated argument erupts between Jhanak and Aniruddha. In the midst of their quarrel, Aniruddha warns Jhanak that he will no longer acknowledge her baby. He firmly states that he does not believe anything happened between them, thus refusing to accept that Jhanak could be the mother of his child.
