Jhanak 2nd September 2024 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Appu and Jhanak having a conversation about Lalon. Jhanak assures Appu that everyone loves her. Appu curiously asks who exactly loves her. Jhanak responds, saying that her mother loves her deeply and will miss her a lot. Appu then asks Jhanak if she misses her own mother, making Jhanak think of Urvashi. Appu adds that if her mother were around, she would have suggested getting Jhanak married to Anirudh. Just then, Anjana arrives and asks Jhanak to help feed Appu. Sensing something is wrong, Anjana inquires if everything is okay. Appu innocently explains that she mentioned Jhanak’s mother, which made Jhanak sad.
Anjana becomes upset, but Appu quickly tries to lighten the mood by saying she will miss Ani and Jhanak. She imagines them having a little daughter soon, with whom she can play. Bipasha overhears this and intervenes, scolding Appu. In response, Jhanak firmly asks Bipasha to maintain her boundaries. Bipasha, taken aback, questions Jhanak’s audacity and starts an argument with Anjana, belittling Jhanak in the process. Angered by the insult, Jhanak stands up to Bipasha, who then aggressively grabs Jhanak’s hand and pushes Anjana, causing the food plate to fall. Appu begins to cry as Bipasha blames Jhanak for wasting food, taunting her about not being able to earn money for it. Jhanak sternly reminds Bipasha that she was the one who pushed Anjana. Bipasha, refusing to back down, threatens to put Jhanak in her place. Appu, frightened, says she will call Lalon, who will come to help. Bipasha mocks the idea, dismissing Lalon as a poor man who can’t stand up to her, and she even pushes Appu away. Bipasha then storms off, saying she will inform Kaku and Kaki about what’s happening. Jhanak quickly moves to console a tearful Appu.
Anjana begins picking up the fallen food and apologizes for the mess. Meanwhile, Mimi arrives home, greeting everyone warmly. Shubh shares that Mimi had called him late at night, asking him to pick her up for a surprise visit. Mimi, excited, asks where Arshi is, as she’s now her sister-in-law. She congratulates everyone on Appu’s upcoming marriage and mentions that she had even argued with her father on this topic. Shubh acknowledges that Appu has become more sensible, explaining that Appu knows she has the right to make her own life decisions and that they should support her happiness. Choton chimes in, vouching for Lalon’s character, noting that if it weren’t for a betrayal that left Lalon’s father in poverty, they would be living comfortably in a bungalow. Bablu, however, remains skeptical, saying Appu doesn’t fully understand the situation. Appu interrupts, happily announcing Mimi’s arrival and her own impending marriage, mentioning the puja ritual at home that day. Shubh and Lal recall the inspector’s warning but don’t let on to Appu. Shubh reassures her, saying her marriage will indeed take place from their house. He adopts a more positive tone, stating he wants to support Appu’s happiness and that Lalon will work hard to provide for her.
Mimi, delighted with the positive changes, expresses her support, saying Appu made the right decision. Anjana then suggests that Choton should inform Mrinalini about the new developments, but he defers, telling her to do it instead. Shubh insists that Mrinalini should be the first to know, as the marriage plans have changed and will now happen in their house. He adds that they should invite her first. Dadu makes a sarcastic comment toward Choton, and everyone else chuckles.
Mimi asks Jhanak how long she plans to stay. Jhanak replies that she will stay until Appu’s wedding. Bablu comments that although his son and daughter-in-law didn’t support them, they want Jhanak to stay with the family. Lal agrees, saying that Jhanak should stay on. Anirudh and Arshi arrive, and Mimi embraces them. Arshi supports Lal’s sentiment, saying that Jhanak has nothing urgent to attend to elsewhere and has important duties in the Bose house alongside Anirudh. Jhanak confirms this, stating that everyone there knows what’s most important to her. Curious, Mimi asks what she means, but Shubh redirects her, suggesting she freshen up first. Mimi agrees and leaves. Jhanak then says she’ll go feed kachori to Appu, who excitedly mentions that Lalon will feed her the food. Shubh, deep in thought, reflects that Appu doesn’t realize what’s truly happening with Lalon. He then informs Anirudh that the marriage will be held at their home. Anirudh is puzzled by the sudden change but accepts it. Shubh explains that Mimi’s advice led to his decision and that they plan to gift Appu a flat. Bablu interjects, saying that Appu will receive whatever is destined for her, and that Lalon will work hard to buy a house. Shubh expresses concern about how Appu will adjust to life in a modest locality, but Appu assures them that she will be happy. As they discuss, Lal expresses worry that their plan might not work out, but Shubh reassures him, reminding him that he has connections with the commissioner and advises him to stay calm and act normal.
