Jhanak 2nd October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Arshi saying, “I will never leave you, I can’t lose to Jhanak. Our marriage will continue like this, we will always stay together. Come, help me pack.” Anirudh holds his chest, feeling uneasy. Arshi asks, “What happened?” He responds, “I’m feeling chest pain.” She accuses him of lying. He says, “Fine, I won’t tell you about my health. I take my words back, nothing happened to me, I’m fine.” She replies, “I know.” Meanwhile, Aditya says, “I didn’t come here to insult you or make you sad.” Jhanak apologizes, “Sorry Aditya, I don’t know what happened to me.” He advises, “Please focus on your work.” As he leaves, she says, “I want to forget everything, but I can’t.” She breaks down in tears. Choton says, “Fine, I’m going.” Anjana intervenes, “Stop, have patience.” She laughs, and Mrinalini makes a joke at Choton’s expense. Anjana asks her to forgive him, but he interrupts, “No need to pity me.” Anjana says, “If you are truly ready, then tell me. I think you’re not, but maybe you’ll agree.” Mrinalini smiles and hugs her.
Choton announces, “I’m going out.” Mrinalini chimes in, “I’ll come too.” He offers, “I’ll drop you.” Dadi, surprised, asks, “Why, have you dropped her off before?” He replies, “The situation has changed now. I’m taking responsibility. I’ll be back in half an hour and then drop her.” He leaves, and the group laughs. Dadi asks, “Is this true?” Mrinalini confirms, “Yes, but there’s a condition. He hasn’t completed his graduation. I’ve asked him to finish it, and I’ll help him.” Dadi says, “That’s good. If you say so, he might pass.” Mrinalini agrees, “Yes, once he completes his graduation, we can talk about marriage.”
Kajal overhears and comments, “I heard your conversation. It’s not unfair; uncle is right, listen to him.” The Commissioner says, “Stay with me, Lalon. I’ll handle it. The court case will proceed. I know good lawyers.” Anuradha protests, “What are you saying? You have your own family. Don’t waste your money.” He insists, “It’s about responsibility.” Lalon adds, “Don’t spend money. We don’t know if we’ll win or not.” But the Commissioner is resolute, “I respect your dad a lot. I’m doing this for him.” Lalon remarks, “We’ve gotten used to staying in this locality.” The Commissioner continues explaining, and Dadi says, “We’re happy. Meenu will keep Choton in line now.” Anjana says, “Make sure he writes his exams soon.” Mrinalini replies, “It’ll take three months.” Anjana agrees, “That’s fine, we need time for wedding preparations.” Mrinalini explains, “He never focused on studies and was often taunted for it. I want him to study well and secure a good job. I don’t want him to feel ashamed.” Dadi blesses her.
Anjana reassures her, “You can do it; we trust you.” Dadi hugs Mrinalini. The Commissioner says, “We’ll win this case. I’m sending a legal notice. Maybe they’ll come to negotiate.” Lalon hesitates, “We’re family now; this could be wrong.” Anuradha assures, “We’re not greedy.” The Commissioner emphasizes, “We have to stand up against injustice.” Jhimli agrees, “You’re right.” Appu says, “I don’t understand.” Lalon advises her, “Just eat your food.” She responds, “You’re talking about Shubh. He’s terrible. He scolded and hit me. He deserves punishment for his wrongdoings.” The Commissioner observes, “She understood easily, but you all don’t seem to grasp it.”
He continues, “I need your name on the legal notice. Decide soon.” Lalon insists, “Don’t involve mom.” The Commissioner presses, “I need your permission.” Anuradha finally relents, “Fine, do what you think is right. Appu is staying in our small house because of them. Her Dadi and Choton love her dearly. If this money can improve their lives, we’re ready to fight.” Lalon agrees, “Yes.”
Later, Choton, Shrishti, Arshi, and Anirudh are on their way to the airport. Shrishti advises Arshi, “Take care of the house properly. There are no maids abroad.” Arshi replies, “I’ll call you for advice. Why didn’t dad come?” Shrishti explains, “He said he saw you yesterday.” She then asks Anirudh, “When will you come back?” He responds, “I don’t know.” Shrishti pushes, “You must have some plan.” Choton interjects, “He hasn’t even arrived yet. He’ll plan his return after settling in.” He asks Anirudh to come back soon. Shrishti and Arshi continue to argue. Anirudh, feeling chest pain again, drinks some water. Choton asks, “What’s wrong? You look unwell.” Anirudh insists, “I’m fine.” Arshi says, “Anirudh is upset about leaving, but he won’t miss the family. I know the reason.” She then tells Choton, “Stop pampering Anirudh.” She adds, “Let’s go.” Choton says, “Stay in peace.” Shrishti quips, “They didn’t get personal space here.” She asks Arshi, “Did you take all the documents?” Arshi nods and checks them. “Don’t worry,” she says, “Take care of yourself and dad.”
Shrishti, emotional, says, “You’re my life. How will I live now? It’s good that you’ll explore a lot there.” Choton holds Anirudh. Shrishti adds, “I told Vinayak I’ll visit you. I have to see your house.” Arshi replies, “You’ll get busy and won’t be able to come visit.” Shrishti remarks, “Jhanak’s name is on the event participant list.” Arshi counters, “It’s not that easy.” Choton comments, “Jhanak will make her name.” Anirudh interjects, “We don’t need to decide that. How much longer?” Choton answers, “We’re almost there.”
Meanwhile, Jhanak and Aditya are on their way. Aditya discusses the Dubai event with the director. He suggests to Jhanak, “You should go there. It’ll be good exposure.” The director agrees, “Yes, we’ll try to finish the shoot soon.” Aditya adds, “Once your work is done, we’ll book the ticket.” Back in the car, Choton notices Anirudh sweating. “Why are you sweating?” he asks. Anirudh insists, “I’m fine.” Arshi says, “No need to stress. We can’t turn back now.” Anirudh retorts, “Did I say anything? I’ll handle my stress.” Aditya asks the driver, “How much longer to the hotel?” Akshay, the driver, responds, “It’s far. Do you want to take a break?” Jhanak nods, “Yes.” Anirudh asks Choton to pull the car over. Choton, worried, asks again, “Why are you sweating?” Shrishti and Arshi continue to argue. Choton demands silence. Arshi brushes it off as “drama.”
Choton stops the car at a dhaba. Arshi, annoyed, says, “We’ll miss the flight.” Choton helps Anirudh to the dhaba, followed by Shrishti and Arshi. Choton gives Anirudh some water. Arshi, impatient, asks, “Are you done? We have to get to the airport.” Anirudh, struggling, says, “I’m not doing this intentionally. I told you I’m feeling unwell.” Arshi, dismissive, says, “Yes, you’re just upset about leaving Jhanak. I know you’re feeling bad.” Anirudh denies it.
Choton, concerned, says, “Look at his condition. Wait for a while.” Suddenly, Anirudh collapses. “What happened? Are you okay?” Choton asks urgently. Anirudh, struggling to speak, says, “Yes.” Choton asks for someone to call a doctor. Arshi, still doubtful, says, “Okay, tell me the truth. What are you feeling?” Anirudh admits, “I’m feeling chest pain, and I can’t breathe.” Arshi argues again. Choton insists, “We need to get him checked. I won’t let him leave like this.” Arshi continues, “He’s fine. He’s just making excuses.” Shrishti, checking the time, says, “We’re going to miss the flight.” Anirudh, growing weaker, says, “Fine, if I die, my body will reach the airport. Don’t worry.” He tries to stand up. Shrishti urges, “We need to go.” But Choton is resolute, “Look at him, we need a doctor.” Arshi protests, “Is this a joke?” Choton responds, “I don’t care if you miss the flight, I won’t let Anirudh go
