Jhanak 28th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Anirudh conversing with Aditya. He mentions that Guru Ji at the ashram resembled Brij Bhushan, though he wasn’t him. Aditya replies that Brij is arriving in Kolkata tomorrow and shares his thoughts about traveling to Mumbai to see a performer named Nutan, who Brij will also be seeing. He asks Anirudh if he would like to join him. Anirudh agrees. Pandit instructs the group, while Appu cries for Jhanak. Anjana offers her comfort.
Aditya acknowledges that Anirudh is hesitant about facing anyone on stage but insists that they should confront Brij. Anirudh admits their plan has failed. Aditya agrees, stating that while they may have lost Brij, they still need to go and inform him that they know the truth: he is Jhanak’s real father. He emphasizes their responsibility in this matter. Aditya asks if Anirudh has Urvashi’s letter, and Anirudh confirms he does, expressing concern that if Brij denies the truth, they cannot do anything for Jhanak since Urvashi is no longer alive to support their claim. Aditya is determined to expose Brij, persuading Anirudh to take action. Pandit inquires about Jhanak’s name and Gotra. Dadi admits she doesn’t know. Arshi suggests calling Mama ji for help. Anirudh steps in, saying it’s unnecessary. He gazes at Jhanak’s picture, reminiscing about their marriage as the song “Paas aaye…” plays in the background. Appu hugs Anirudh, tears flowing down her face.
Brij Bhushan meets a woman and introduces Jhanak as Nutan, advising her to prepare herself well. Pandit ji insists they want her to look stunning so no one can identify her. Shubh questions whether they know her Gotra. Anirudh responds, stating it’s Gautam Gotra. Shubh is surprised, and Dadi confirms it’s their Gotra. Anirudh reveals that he and Jhanak were married.
Bipasha reassures Arshi that Anirudh will be there for her soon. Meenakshi encourages Appu to sing a final song for Jhanak. Appu sings while recalling memories of Jhanak, shedding tears. Anirudh comforts her with a hug. The woman praises Brij Bhushan, suggesting that Nutan’s life’s truth remains concealed. She feels there’s a hidden truth about Guru Ji’s life too, hinting at surprises to come. Jhanak expresses her desire for answers instead. Brij assures her she will discover everything tomorrow when she meets her father. Jhanak acknowledges that there’s a program scheduled for that day. Pandit confirms this, as Kajal arrives to see Anuradha. She shares her school promotion news, mentioning she has a lot of work to do and should leave. Jhimli invites her to stay a little longer. Kajal spots a newspaper and shows Nutan’s picture to Anuradha, urging her to examine it closely.
Anuradha returns home with Appu and Lalon. Appu laments her failure to prevent Jhanak from leaving. Anuradha comforts her, advising her not to cry excessively, or she might become unwell. Appu reassures her that nothing will happen to her, pleading for Jhanak’s return. Lalon insists he’s doing his best to help. Pandit ji reminds everyone that Brij will keep his promise, and once they meet their father, all questions will be answered. Jhanak reflects on her mother’s wish for her not to discover anything about her father. The lady comforts Jhanak, stating that Brij has suffered a lot, and she’s pleased to see him present. Brij expresses his desire to showcase Nutan beautifully. Kajal understands how significant Jhanak was to Anirudh and reassures him that the shock will pass. She shows Nutan’s picture to Appu, who is struck by the resemblance to Jhanak and realizes she is indeed a dancer. Determined, they all decide to attend the show. Anuradha insists Appu takes her medicine and eats well. Appu thanks Kajal for her help, and Kajal responds that she is happy to assist as a friend. Spotting Lalon, Kajal takes her leave. Brij instructs the lady to prepare Nutan, while Jhanak presses him for the truth about her father. Brij confirms she will meet him soon.
