The episode begins with Anirudh asking Shubh to return the property to Lalon. Arshi defends Shubh, highlighting how he worked hard to build his house. Anirudh remarks that he is in a business where lies are often presented as truths. Choton accuses Shubh of ruining Lalon’s family and mentions Anuradha’s struggles in managing Appu’s expenses. Shubh and Tanuja ask him not to say such things. Choton replies that he is not afraid of them. Shubh retorts, asking if Choton thinks he won’t act. Choton says he doesn’t care. Arshi and Bipasha also try to stop Choton. Choton insists that the truth will come out. He mentions that Barrister Prasad is handling the case and will succeed, while they continue to get defamed because of Shubh. Arshi asks if they have any proof. Shubh denies it, stating that they are all greedy and had some motive in accepting Appu. Anjana defends Appu, saying that she is sick but not evil like them. Shubh informs them about the legal notice, stating they are being asked to vacate the house in 7 days and also pay a penalty of 15 crores. They are all shocked. Bipasha suggests talking to Lalon and paying him a few lakhs, calling him a beggar. Anirudh tells her that she will beg if she were in Lalon’s place and scolds Lalon and Bipasha.
Anirudh says that if necessary, he will leave this house. Jhanak is surprised to see Brij’s house and asks if this is her father’s house. The lawyer confirms and explains the concept of Kul. He invites her inside and asks the men to be respectful while speaking to her. She says it’s fine.
Shubh meets Mr. Prasad. Commissioner Sameer is also with Prasad. Shubh asks Prasad to talk to him, mentioning that he will record the conversation. Shubh greets Sameer, surprised to see him. He then addresses Prasad, mentioning the notice sent by his office. Prasad acknowledges knowing Shubh. Sameer greets him warmly. Shubh expresses his confusion about the notice, and Prasad says they should follow the instructions given: vacate the house in 7 days and pay the penalty, as they have all the information. Shubh states he cannot pay such a large amount but is willing to face any consequences. Prasad agrees to the punishment. Sameer asks if Shubh ever considered the impact of his actions on the family he ruined, pointing out that Shubh didn’t even recognize them. Shubh says he last met Lalon when he was young. Sameer mentions that Shubh didn’t even recognize Lalon’s mother. Prasad asks when Shubh took money from them, and Shubh explains that he had to start a business and borrowed their money. Prasad expresses doubt and questions if Lalon’s father died naturally. Shubh denies it, asserting that Prasad knows him well. Sameer accuses Shubh of giving them a life worse than death. Shubh defends himself, saying that Lalon’s family could have asked him for help if they needed it. Prasad warns him not to manipulate the situation and tells him to leave. Shubh attempts to negotiate. Meanwhile, Jhanak gets emotional as she looks around the house. The lawyer locks her in and leaves.
