Jhanak 26th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode opens with Mrinalini returning home and addressing everyone. She says, “I have news for you all. The commissioner called me; I visited his office. They might find Jhanak’s body; they have obtained details about the Sadhu, their ashram, and a new girl who arrived at the ashram that day. The Sadhus saved that girl. If we believe she is Jhanak, how did she end up there? If they saved her, then…” Anirudh declares, “I will go to the ashram right now.” Vinayak adds, “I believe in miracles; I will go and bring Jhanak back.” Meenakshi points out, “The police are searching for the missing link. I’ll go with the police; you can come too.” Anjana says, “I will pray for Jhanak’s survival.” Bipasha interjects, “But we saw her photo; she looked dead.” Choton remarks, “If Jhanak is alive, that will create problems for you.”
Anirudh insists, “We should go to the commissioner and call Lalon as well.” Meenakshi advises, “They don’t have more information; let’s wait for one day and go in the morning.” Anirudh prays for Jhanak’s survival. Shrishti denies the charges in front of the court and responds to questions. Her lawyer defends her. Meenakshi urges Anirudh to remain patient. She adds, “Maybe it’s a coincidence; that girl might be someone else. If she is Jhanak, why hasn’t she contacted us?” Everyone continues discussing Jhanak.
The judge speaks to the inspector regarding the case. The inspector states, “We have evidence against Shrishti.” He presents the proof, explaining that he needs time to gather more evidence, as she might tamper with it if she remains free. The judge agrees, saying they will take a break before delivering the verdict.
Arshi sees the news of Shrishti’s arrest and tears up. She says, “Mom and I don’t deserve this; this is happening because of Jhanak.” Vinayak comforts her, stating, “Accept the truth; your mom knew it and was involved.” The next morning, Jhanak dances, and Guru Ji smiles, saying, “No one can defeat you; it’s your life. You have many enemies, so you must hide your identity. Forget your old life. I’ll have you wear old clothes at the right time to conceal your face; no one can know you. I want to create your new identity as Notun.” Vinayak tells Arshi, “Your mom shared everything with you; do you…” Arshi interrupts, “You mean my mom and I planned Jhanak’s murder?” He replies, “I don’t know. I was happy for you and Anirudh planning to go abroad.” He reassures her that nothing wrong will happen if Shrishti is innocent and encourages her to go home. She refuses to visit Anirudh’s house. Guru Ji asks, “Did your mom stop dancing in her last days?” Jhanak responds, “I never saw her dance. Once, when I was a child, I glimpsed her dancing in a locked room. Do you know my background? You know my mom well; you used to teach her. You would know my dad too.”
He confirms, “Yes, I know, but I can’t tell you.” She insists, “I can’t die without getting that answer. I will confront him about why he hurt my mom so much.” Vinayak suggests, “I think you should be with Anirudh.” Arshi replies, “Sorry, but I can’t assist Anirudh.” Guru Ji asks, “What will you do?” Jhanak declares, “He has to accept me. I will force him to.” When asked why, she responds, “It’s important for my mother’s lost respect. She was humiliated after he abandoned her; she ended her life. I won’t call him dad.” When he inquires why she wants to know, she explains, “I want to forget him and reject him, just as he rejected us. I will not accept him.” Vinayak tries to reason with Arshi. She insists, “I will make Anirudh’s life miserable; I won’t be separated from him when Jhanak is gone. My life is ruined.” He offers to drive her there, urging her to understand. Jhanak states, “I’m not illegitimate; I heard she married my dad.” Guru Ji reassures her, “Yes, they were married.” She demands to know, “You know this, then tell me, was he a dancer? Is he alive?” He confirms, “Yes.”
He advises her to concentrate on her dance. “I’ll reveal the truth at the right moment, and then you can punish your dad. He will willingly accept his punishment.” She asks for his name, but he declines. Pandit Ji arrives and inquires about her dance practice. Jhanak replies, “It’s ongoing; Guru Ji isn’t telling me about my dad.” Pandit Ji suggests, “There might be a valid reason for it. The police are here.” Guru Ji warns, “They may be looking for you; we must deny any knowledge of your whereabouts.” Jhanak asserts, “No one should know I’m alive.” Pandit Ji cautions, “You must stay hidden. If anyone asks your name, tell them it’s Notun.” She agrees.
