Jhanak 22nd September 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Anirudh asking the driver to take him to the temple. The driver, trying to reassure him, says, “I understand, my wife was in danger during her delivery, I prayed for her, and she recovered. Your wife will get better too.” Anirudh, filled with guilt and hope, replies, “I just want her to be saved.” The driver says, “Once she’s fine, keep her close. Don’t let her go.” Anirudh nods, “I will never hurt her again.” The driver senses his sadness and asks, “Did you two have a fight?” Anirudh sighs, “I’ve wronged her… she’s too good for me.” The driver smiles kindly, “Love heals everything. Don’t worry.” Anirudh says quietly, “I never even told her that I love her.”
When they arrive at the temple, Anirudh rushes to buy puja items. The man at the shop says, “The temple is closing now.” Anirudh, desperate, pleads with the pandit to allow him to perform the puja. The pandit responds, “You’ll have to wait until 4 pm when the temple reopens. It’s the time for Devtas to rest.” Anirudh insists, “I need to do this puja, my wife’s life depends on it.” The pandit refuses. Meanwhile, Vinayak tells Shrishti that Anirudh is focused on Jhanak, and Arshi feels neglected. “This all started when Arshi insulted Jhanak and stopped Anirudh from helping her. He had no choice but to marry her.”
Back at the temple, Anirudh argues with the pandit, “I will do this puja. My devotion is sincere.” The pandit, unmoved, says, “You want to break tradition for your prayers? This isn’t the right time.” Anirudh tearfully replies, “My wife is fighting for her life. Please, let me perform the puja.” The pandit softens, “I understand your pain. Wait till 4 pm, and I will personally ensure the puja is done.” Anirudh, still desperate, says, “I don’t know if she’ll survive that long.” Moved by his plea, the pandit finally relents, “Come with me, let’s start now. Take this blessed flower and place it on her forehead.”
While Anirudh is praying, Arshi talks to Vinayak, “Do you think Anirudh did the right thing by going to Jhanak?” Vinayak tells her, “He should have consulted you, but you could have gone with him.” Arshi, exhausted by the situation, says, “I’m tired of all of this.” Anirudh, still praying, whispers, “Please, Mahadev, don’t take Jhanak from me. I love her.” Shrishti advises Arshi to rethink her marriage, but Vinayak adds, “This is the time for decisions, not hesitation.” Arshi agrees and decides to get tickets, but says she needs time to think.
At the hospital, the doctor informs Aditya, “We may need to put Jhanak on a ventilator, but it’s not looking good. We need someone to sign the papers.” Aditya, overwhelmed, says, “I’ll sign, just save her life.” Meanwhile, Anirudh completes the puja and receives the blessed flower. The pandit blesses him, and Anirudh hurries back to the hospital, repeating to himself, “I love you, Jhanak.” As he races to save her, the doctors at the hospital discuss Jhanak’s critical condition, “Her pulse is dropping. There’s no improvement.” Aditya listens helplessly, tears streaming down his face.
Anirudh is on his way back, clutching the blessed flower tightly, thinking of Jhanak and their moments together. The driver says, “We’ll take a shortcut, it might be faster.” Anirudh closes his eyes, praying for a miracle.
