Jhanak 19th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Aditya telling the doctor that Jhanak is speaking nonsense. The doctor replies, “Why? She is so positive and dances beautifully.” Aditya explains that Jhanak is talking about possibly dying in the operation theater. The doctor reassures him, “Don’t be afraid. Your life has just begun, and there’s still so much you can achieve. After the surgery, everything will be fine. Take a vacation after the shoot, reduce your stress levels, and the recovery will go smoothly.” Aditya agrees, saying he will arrange everything. The doctor encourages Jhanak, telling her to enjoy life fully, and assures Aditya not to worry. Aditya wishes her good luck, saying she will be fine. Jhanak thanks him and follows the doctor, reflecting on her memories with Anirudh.
Meanwhile, Anirudh comes downstairs with his luggage, announcing Jhanak’s serious condition—she has a tumor in her stomach, not a pregnancy. Everyone is shocked. Anirudh argues with Arshi, Shubh, and Tanuja. Choton asks who contacted him, and Anirudh reveals that it was Aditya. Lal and Bipasha chime in, making taunts about Jhanak. Bablu offers to accompany Anirudh, but Anirudh declines, saying Appu will be coming, and Bablu should stay back. Arshi, furious, tells Anirudh that if he goes to Mumbai, their relationship is over. She threatens to leave the house. Bipasha agrees, saying, “Who will stay with you after enduring such humiliation?” She tells Anirudh to take responsibility. Anirudh responds calmly, “We only have one life. If Arshi wants to leave, it’s her choice. I won’t stop her if that’s what she wants.” Shubh accuses Bablu and Anjana of being happy, implying that Bablu wants revenge. Bablu protests, saying he loves Anirudh and knows Jhanak always tells the truth, even if no one else believed her, not even Anirudh. Arshi, upset, retorts, “So you think my marriage to Anirudh means nothing? You’re implying he has something with Jhanak?” Anjana jumps in, defending Jhanak, saying everyone knows Jhanak is Anirudh’s weakness. She questions why Arshi married Anirudh if she knew this. Tanuja accuses Anjana of trying to ruin Arshi and Anirudh’s lives by interfering in their personal matters. Anjana replies, “This is about Anirudh and Jhanak, not you.”
Lal, frustrated, expresses his dissatisfaction with his parents, while Bablu retorts, “What have we done? We’re the villains now? You and Shubh were plotting against Appu, and now you want to lecture us?” Choton tells Anirudh, “You go to Mumbai. I’ll stay back for Appu.” Anirudh agrees, saying, “Yes, you stay here. The operation is critical. I’ll keep you updated.” Arshi tries to stop him, insisting, “You won’t go to Mumbai.” Anirudh firmly responds, “I’m going, and I won’t listen to you. Come with me—Jhanak is your sister too.” Arshi, feeling betrayed, says, “So you’re going to Mumbai?” Anirudh confirms, “Yes, I am.” Tanuja interjects, calling his decision wrong, but Anirudh questions, “Did you ever confront your husband when he made mistakes? Did you turn a blind eye? I’m not doing anything wrong.” Arshi threatens to file a complaint if Anirudh leaves, but he remains unphased, telling her to go ahead if that’s what she wants. Shubh criticizes him, claiming, “Your wife and your father don’t matter to you.” Anirudh fires back, accusing Shubh of plotting to ruin Appu’s marriage, and says, “I’m going to visit a sick person. Why are you stopping me?”
Lal laments the situation, while Anirudh brushes off his concerns, saying no one cares. Bipasha reminds him of his promise to keep Arshi happy, accusing him of breaking it. Arshi chimes in, calling Anirudh a cheat and a fraud. He retorts, “I made a promise to Jhanak too. Can we keep all our promises? No. So why is Arshi so afraid?” Arshi refuses to compromise, stating she won’t tolerate this any longer. Anirudh, frustrated, says, “You’ve already compromised. Do you even realize how you won the reality show? Everyone knew Jhanak would win, but she stepped aside for you. Your condition wasn’t good, and I asked her to let you win. She lost for your sake.” Arshi and everyone else are left in shock at his revelation.
Anirudh continues, saying, “Now that she needs me, I can’t turn my back on her. If you don’t understand that, then I’ll be the one feeling the most regret.” He leaves as Lalon prepares to go. Appu bids him farewell, saying, “Come back soon.” Anuradha reassures Appu that she is still her mother. Appu, confused, asks, “Am I not my mother’s daughter anymore?” Anuradha soothes her, saying, “Of course you are. Let’s call your mom and Jhanak. We’ll make a video call.” Appu, excited, hugs her.
Anirudh arrives in Mumbai, heading straight to the hospital. Aditya, already there, inquires about Jhanak’s operation at the reception. The nurse informs him that the tests are complete, and the operation is about to begin. Anirudh soon arrives, asking about Jhanak’s condition. Aditya spots him and, clearly upset, says, “I can’t leave her alone. I’m not like you.” The nurse approaches Aditya for his signature, but Anirudh offers, saying, “I can sign.” Aditya challenges him, asking, “By what right? I’m her friend.” Anirudh counters, “I’m her relative.”
Aditya sarcastically remarks, “Ah, relative. That’s a convenient word. Fine, sign if you must, but don’t regret it later. Remember, Jhanak went to Kolkata with big news, and you insulted her.” Anirudh retorts, “That’s our personal matter.” Aditya dismisses it, saying, “Who are you to her? Forget it. The operation is critical.” They continue to argue.
