The episode opens with Jhanak calming the baby. Vihaan asks Anirudh to extend his stay for one more day, but Anirudh declines, saying he needs to return to Mumbai. Vihaan understands and suggests Anirudh visit again with his family. Curious, Anirudh asks if Vihaan is planning to move there, to which Vihaan reveals his intention to open a hospital in the area. When Anirudh inquires about Vihaan’s wife’s work, Vihaan confirms but then avoids questions about whether his family would allow her to work now, saying they can discuss it later. He mentions that Ketki has certain rules they follow. Anirudh comments that Vihaan’s wife might face challenges, but Vihaan assures him she is managing well. The conversation shifts to Arshi, with Anirudh explaining that while his family is supportive, Arshi took a career break due to her pregnancy. Vihaan predicts his family dynamics will eventually change but admits it will take time. He suggests Anirudh meet his wife before leaving, but Anirudh hesitates, assuming she’s busy.
Vihaan invites Anirudh downstairs and goes to Jhanak, who mentions that Ahaan is still crying. When Anirudh arrives, Vihaan informs Jhanak about Anirudh’s departure and introduces her as his wife, Avni. Jhanak, pretending not to recognize Anirudh, greets him. Vihaan excuses himself, saying he forgot his car keys. Alone with Jhanak, Anirudh confronts her about marrying Vihaan under a different name and questions Ahaan’s parentage. Jhanak asserts that their past doesn’t matter and insists he shouldn’t interfere in her life. When Anirudh asks if she ever thought about him, she retorts that she has no reason to, given he has a wife and child. She warns him not to meddle in someone else’s marriage. Anirudh probes further, asking if anyone knows her history, but Jhanak challenges him, suggesting he may plan to reveal the truth to Vihaan. Anirudh denies having any such intention.
Elsewhere, Kul Bhushan declares his intent to file a police complaint against Jhanak. Mittal assures Kul Bhushan they will update him with any new information. Kul Bhushan expresses his desire to end Jhanak’s life, believing it’s the only way to find peace.
Meanwhile, Mimi tells Shubh she has something to discuss. Shubh dismisses her, claiming he cannot meet her demands. Bipasha mocks Mimi, prompting Anjana to suggest Bipasha and Laal leave if they have so many grievances. Bipasha argues that Lalon won’t support Anjana indefinitely. Anjana counters, urging Bipasha to take responsibility, leading to Arundhati questioning Anjana’s harshness.
Anirudh notes inconsistencies in Jhanak’s story, pointing out she never went to America and Vihaan’s marriage took place two years ago. When he questions her, Jhanak brushes him off, asking why he even cares. Vihaan returns and informs them Anirudh has decided to stay longer. Jhanak questions this, and Vihaan explains he convinced him. Anirudh cites not feeling well as the reason.
Elsewhere, Tanuja remarks on Bipasha and Laal revealing their true nature. Shubh dismisses the topic, but Mimi reveals that Dr. Sen is interested in her and wants to discuss marriage. Shubh reminds her of their financial constraints and asks how she can consider marriage in their situation. Tanuja suggests Laal could assist, but Laal protests, citing financial difficulties. Shubh reassures Laal, stating he has no expectations from him and instead relies on Anirudh. Arundhati proposes focusing on Choton’s marriage first, but Shubh argues that people like Choton shouldn’t marry. Tanuja counters, saying a husband must support his wife, which Choton may struggle with. Anjana defends Choton, urging Tanuja to reconsider her words. Mimi voices concerns about whether Dr. Sen’s parents would accept her but ultimately agrees to prioritize Choton’s marriage.
Anirudh observes Ahaan, and Vihaan mentions that Ahaan calms down when he is with Avni. Jhanak comments that a mother knows how to handle her child. Anirudh cryptically asks if she means a mother or a woman, to which Jhanak responds that he can think whatever he wants. Vihaan suggests going out, and Anirudh reveals he has seen Vihaan’s wife in Kolkata. Vihaan becomes tense.
