Jhanak 16th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Aditya rushing Jhanak to the hospital, shouting for the doctor. He anxiously asks her if this pain has happened before. She replies that it did happen once in Kolkata but didn’t think it would get this serious. He reassures her, telling her everything will be fine and questions how he could leave her alone at the hotel. He adds, “Would you have left me if the roles were reversed?” Jhanak weakly responds, “Anirudh didn’t help me, maybe that’s why the baby’s heart broke, and he wants to leave me.” Aditya quickly refutes her fear, saying, “No, don’t think like that.” She insists, “I can feel it, my mother loved me a lot, she sacrificed so much for me.”
Aditya gently comforts her, saying, “Don’t worry about the cost of treatment, I will take care of it. You can pay me back when you’re successful. I care about you, Jhanak, and you were born to achieve big things.” Jhanak, in tears, replies, “I know, but life has only been tough for me. Why do I have to face so many challenges? I don’t even know who my father is, my mother left me, and now Anirudh refuses to accept this baby.” Aditya reassures her, “Calm down, you will know your father’s identity, and he will come to say sorry.”
Meanwhile, at the rasam (ceremony), Lalon interrupts, saying it’s time for Appu’s medication. Kajal quickly brings the medicine for Appu, who takes it and says she feels sleepy. The ladies suggest continuing the rasam by exchanging garlands, and Lalon feeding Appu sweets. Appu excitedly agrees, saying she loves sweets. However, Lalon notices the ladies laughing at Appu and quickly steps in, asking them to stop the rasam. Kajal supports Lalon, suggesting that Appu should rest. The women insist on continuing, but Lalon remains firm.
Back at the hospital, Jhanak turns to Aditya and asks, “How can you be so sure about what you’re saying?” Aditya, recalling Rudra’s words, responds, “I just know.” Jhanak questions further, “What good will an apology do me now?” Aditya comforts her, saying, “You will get everything you deserve, just trust me.” In her vulnerable state, Jhanak says, “If something happens to me, if this baby survives, will you take care of it? Will you leave it at an orphanage? I refused your help before, but now I’m asking you to take care of my baby, give it a good life, and tell them the truth when they grow up.” Aditya firmly promises, “I will take care of your baby, Jhanak, and you. I will give the baby my name if needed. I know you don’t love me, but I love you, and I am ready to accept both you and your baby.”
Jhanak, however, remains stuck in her past, saying, “A person only loves once in their life, and I loved Anirudh. I can never love anyone else.” Meanwhile, Lalon continues to argue with the women about the rasam, with Kajal insisting that Appu deserves respect and love as Lalon’s wife.
At the hospital, Aditya takes Jhanak inside the emergency ward, asking the nurse to hurry. Back at the rasam, Kajal asks the women to leave, stating that Lalon married Appu because he genuinely loves her.
Inside the emergency room, the doctor asks Jhanak about her pregnancy and how far along she is. Jhanak replies, “Three months.” The doctor asks if she’s had any tests done and says they will need to conduct further tests to understand her situation. Aditya anxiously fills out the admission form and asks if he can stay with her. The nurse reassures him but warns that the diagnosis might take some time.
Meanwhile, at the rasam, Appu and Lalon exchange garlands while Kajal wipes away her tears. The doctor, back at the hospital, shares troubling news, “I don’t think this pregnancy exists.” Both Jhanak and Aditya are left in shock.
At the rasam, Appu asks Kajal to stay, offering to sleep next to her while pushing Lalon aside. Kajal gently declines, saying she will return tomorrow. Lalon, showing his concern, asks Kajal to eat before she leaves. Kajal hears them talk and gets emotional. Appu assures Lalon that she will scold Kajal tomorrow and make things right. Lalon sweetly sings a lullaby for Appu, who falls asleep in his arms.
Back at the hospital, Aditya, confused by the doctor’s statement, asks, “You mean she isn’t pregnant?” The doctor explains, “There’s confusion; we need to conduct more tests to be sure. Please admit her.” Aditya agrees, asking the nurse to get the best private room for Jhanak. Jhanak, however, looks worried and resists, “No, I can’t do this.” Aditya gently insists, reassuring her that everything will be okay.
As the scene ends, both Aditya and Jhanak are left with an uncertain future, while Lalon and Appu share a peaceful moment, unaware of the storm brewing in Jhanak’s life.
