Jhanak 16th November 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Anirudh leaving. Arshi says, “I can’t manage this.” She imagines Shrishti advising her to handle the situation, control Anirudh, and show Jhanak her place; otherwise, it would be a shame. Motivated, Arshi gets ready. Kajal leaves. Appu asks why she made her leave. Lalon expresses his worries. He receives a call from the commissioner, who listens to his concerns. The commissioner advises him to file a complaint, saying he’ll take care of the rest. Appu insists on speaking with the commissioner herself, and Lalon makes it happen. Dr. Sen comments that she’s crossing her limits, and Mimi asks him to meet her friends. They thank Dr. Sen and call him Jija ji. Mimi urges Dr. Sen not to react like that. Dr. Sen questions her mischief, and Rumi introduces him. Mimi requests that Dr. Sen pay the bill. She mentions they don’t have money. Dr. Sen reluctantly pays, and Mimi teases him as he leaves. Appu mentions she wants his help in finding Jhanak and knows Nutan is Jhanak. She plans to go to Shrishti’s party and catch Jhanak there. The commissioner agrees to help if she promises to cooperate. Appu is happy and leaves. Lalon apologizes, and the commissioner says he also suspects a link between Nutan and Jhanak. They need to focus on Tejas and trap him. Lalon hopes this will work.
Vinayak and Shrishti come downstairs. Arshi wishes them a happy anniversary. Anirudh and his family arrive and wish Vinayak and Shrishti. Vinayak asks Anirudh to sing a song, but Anirudh refuses. Arshi insists, saying he must sing for her sake. Appu and Lalon arrive. Appu hugs Anirudh and says Kajal helped her get ready. Lalon mentions that he brought Appu because she insisted on attending. Appu wishes Shrishti, who asks her to behave. Lalon admits he’s unfamiliar with high society events. She advises him to learn proper etiquette. Lalon wishes her well. Arshi says Anirudh hasn’t sung yet. Appu offers to sing, but Shrishti declines, saying Bengali songs aren’t suitable. Appu assures her that she knows a Hindi song. Arshi encourages her to sing if she wants. Shrishti jokes, and Appu retorts. Anirudh asks Lalon and Appu to sing. Choton and Mrinalini arrive. Shrishti comments on how they always come together. Choton confirms that Mrinalini is his fiancée, so they came together. They wish the couple well and give a gift. Shrishti tries to belittle them, but Appu asks about Nutan. Arshi mentions that dad invited them, so they’ll arrive soon. Anirudh reflects on how he misses Jhanak when he sees Nutan.
Everyone asks about Vinayak’s surprise. Vinayak teases them, saying they’ll find out soon. Shrishti guesses it might be a villa. He asks her to wait. He announces that special guests are arriving as part of the surprise. Jhanak enters, stunning everyone. Anirudh immediately goes to her. Arshi and Shrishti worry. Brij follows. Shrishti is upset, but Vinayak thanks Jhanak for coming. Brij expresses his gratitude as well. Vinayak compliments Jhanak’s appearance. Shrishti questions the need to invite them. Arshi justifies it, saying her father is sentimental. Shrishti insists on staying alert, noticing Anirudh’s attention to Nutan.
Shrishti talks to the Bose family about Nutan’s arrival. Lalon and Appu sing *Tere Mere Milan Ki Ye Raina*… and receive applause. Appu spots Jhanak and approaches her. Jhanak, acting as Nutan, engages her in conversation. Anjana guides Appu to avoid her. Choton and Mrinalini notice Nutan and feel sorry for Anirudh. Anirudh greets Brij, and Vinayak attends to them. He asks Anirudh to take care of Brij and Nutan. Anirudh reassures him. Lalon encourages Anirudh to sing, but Anirudh declines. Jhanak insists on hearing him sing, expressing her interest. Anirudh, now motivated by her request, performs *Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas…* for her. The crowd applauds. Vinayak says it’s time for the cake cutting. Shrishti urges him to reveal the surprise. He insists on waiting until the right moment. He addresses everyone, announcing that he will give Shrishti a surprise gift.
Shrishti insists on sharing the moment with her family, but Brij remarks that Jhanak should be ashamed of herself. Shrishti, however, is determined to enjoy the moment with her husband. Vinayak and Shrishti cut the cake, and everyone applauds. Vinayak says it’s time to reveal the surprise. He begins a story about a man from a poor background who worked hard and became successful. He met a woman at a party, fell in love, and they married. They had a daughter, and the man supported his wife’s career, even allowing her to train for a year. When she returned, she was with her first husband, whom she had always loved. Shrishti is left shocked, and everyone watches in surprise.
