Jhanak 15th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Adrija taunting Meghla and Appu. An argument breaks out between Adrija and Choton. Appu asks Lalon to sing a song. Lalon says he’ll sing with her, but Kajal insists that Meghla should sing first. Anuradha introduces Bhattacharya to Appu’s family. Anirudh expresses his gratitude, acknowledging how Bhattacharya handled a previous situation, admitting that his father was in the wrong. Bhattacharya reassures him, saying he will uncover the truth and praises Jhanak for opening his eyes. Lalon invites everyone to sit down, and Choton opens up to Meghla, telling her that though he sells books now, it’s not something he wants to continue due to painful memories. She asks him why, and he confesses that loving her has been tough and that the memories of her hurt him.
Meghla, taken aback, asks if he really finds her that difficult to love. Choton explains that the memories of their relationship remind him of his shortcomings. He mentions considering a move to Assam for work. Meghla tries to dissuade him, saying that family is more important than money. Choton, however, feels nothing is holding him back. She, somewhat hurt, agrees with him and says, “You’ve never found a reason to stay, have you?” He says he doesn’t like taking risks, and she responds, “Don’t blame me for your choices. Your mistakes are your own.” She walks away, leaving Choton lost in thought.
Meghla takes the stage and sings a song. Mrinalini informs Anjana that Choton is thinking about going to Assam, and Anjana declares she won’t let him leave. The crowd applauds Meghla’s performance, but Adrija sneers. Appu and Lalon perform next, and Kajal watches them with tears in her eyes, moved by their love. Appu asks if Kajal enjoyed the song, and Kajal admits she did, adding that Appu deserves to be Lalon’s wife. Appu proudly says that Lalon will become a famous singer one day and asks Kajal to support him when he does. Kajal agrees, saying Lalon loves Appu deeply.
Lalon then asks Anirudh to sing. Jhanak, lost in her thoughts, listens as Anirudh sings “Tumhe koi aur dekhe to…” The song brings back memories for both of them. Anirudh reflects on how much he loves Jhanak but feels betrayed by her lies and accusations. He hopes she will reveal the truth someday. Jhanak, in turn, thinks about how Anirudh denied their child, attributing the responsibility to Aditya. As she experiences pain in her stomach, the doorbell rings. Expecting Aditya, she tries to rest, but when he arrives, he notices her pale face and asks if she’s okay. She brushes it off, but Aditya is concerned.
Aditya inquires about her relationship with Anirudh, and though Jhanak tries to deflect, Aditya confesses that he has feelings for her. He acknowledges that she loves Anirudh but offers his support, even proposing to stand by her as a friend if Anirudh refuses to take responsibility for the baby. Aditya says he’s even willing to give his name to the child, despite knowing she doesn’t love him or want to marry him. Jhanak thanks him for the offer but politely declines, insisting that she will raise the child on her own if needed. She assures him that Anirudh is the father, and though she respects Aditya, she wants their relationship to remain as friends.
Just then, Jhanak faints, and Aditya catches her before she falls. Alarmed, he insists on taking her to the doctor, but she tries to reassure him, saying it’s normal to feel faint during pregnancy. However, as she begins to experience more intense stomach pain, she starts to panic. Aditya insists that they shouldn’t take any risks and urges her to go to the hospital for a checkup. Jhanak, still hesitant, tries to go alone, but Aditya convinces her to trust him and go together for the sake of her health and the baby.
