Jhanak 10th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with everyone staring at Shubh. Lal and Shubh both ask, “What’s going on?” Bhattacharya steps forward and says, “You know whose voice this is. I want to reveal the real culprit, and that voice belongs to Shubho Bose.” Shubh, in disbelief, retorts, “I don’t believe it, this could have been edited.” Bhattacharya explains, “I owe a lot to Pranay. I had no money or job, and Lalon’s father helped me get an education and supported me. When he passed away, I was stationed in another city and couldn’t attend his funeral. Today, I’ve met his family for the first time. When Shubh took Lalon’s case, I investigated it thoroughly and made sure nothing unjust happened to Lalon. Lalon’s father gave me a life, and I won’t let anyone harm Lalon or any innocent person. Pranay was like a mentor to me, and I will forever be in his debt.” Lalon starts to cry. Shubh angrily says, “This is all wrong.” Bhattacharya then asks, “Should I arrest Shubh?” Shubh, getting defensive, says, “Do you know who you’re talking about?” Anirudh turns to his father and asks, “Dad, did you really do this?” Bablu adds, “You wanted to ruin Appu’s life.” Shubh denies it, saying, “It’s all lies.” Jhanak speaks up, “No, it’s true. You’re denying it, but I’ve realized what kind of person you are. Why did you do this? Was it just because you didn’t want a connection with someone from the locality? You were willing to destroy an innocent life out of greed.” She turns to Lalon and asks, “What do you want to do about Shubh?”
Bhattacharya chimes in again, “Yes, Lalon, tell me, how do you want to handle this? Shall I arrest Shubh?” Lalon responds, “No. You knew my father, and his loved ones betrayed him. Bhattacharya replies, “I have the names of the people who betrayed your father. We can discuss this another time. But should I arrest Shubh now?” Lalon shakes his head, “No, I’m married to Appu. Appu’s uncle is my uncle now, and Lal is my brother. I can’t harm my family.” Bhattacharya apologizes and promises, “I’ll be at your wedding reception, I swear to support you for the rest of my life.” Anuradha expresses her gratitude. Bhattacharya urges them to head home. Appu, overjoyed, jumps in excitement. Anuradha says, “This all happened because of your sindoor.” They all leave, but before going, Bhattacharya warns Shubh, “I know everything, including who wronged Lalon’s family. Be cautious.” Shubh, unsettled, leaves as well. Jhanak approaches Bhattacharya and says, “I have something important to discuss. Can I speak to you during Appu’s reception?” Bhattacharya agrees, and she thanks him. Anirudh, feeling remorseful, apologizes to Jhanak, “Maybe my father doesn’t deserve respect.” She replies, “I don’t hold any personal grudge against your father. I just want to see Appu and Lalon happy. I’ll leave after the wedding, so stop apologizing to everyone.”
Once everyone arrives home, Dadi asks, “What happened to Shubh?” Appu reveals, “He sent Lalon to jail.” Lalon adds, “But the marriage is done. I want to take Appu home. We’ll perform the rituals there. I was lucky that the police commissioner was my dad’s friend.” Dadi, still confused, asks, “What happened?” Tanuja admits, “I don’t fully understand either.” Shrishti, suspicious, asks, “Did Jhanak do something?” Anirudh defends Jhanak, “No, why do you always blame her?” Arshi asks, “Then what did Shubh do?” Lalon cuts off the questioning, saying, “It’s better if we don’t dwell on it.” Bablu advises Lalon to let the matter rest. Anuradha, eager to leave, says, “We’d like to go home.” Shrishti makes a snide comment, but Anuradha shoots back, “Don’t lecture me.” Jhanak tries to calm things down, suggesting, “Focus on finding out who is responsible for your husband’s death. I believe the same people who wronged Lalon’s father are behind it. Lalon should uncover the truth. If I were staying, I would have helped.” Bablu offers everyone food, but Lalon declines, “No need, we’ll eat at home. I feel like my father is being insulted here. My mother raised us through hard work. I may be poor, but I’m not a criminal. Sometimes criminals are born in rich houses too.” Tanuja, visibly upset, asks Bipasha to call Shubh, “I want to know what’s going on. How did he find the nerve to say such things?” Bipasha leaves, and Rumi and Mimi return, saying, “Shubh has locked himself in his room.” Lalon responds, “That’s because his truth came out. He wanted to frame me and send me to jail.”
Anirudh apologizes again, “I’m sorry on behalf of my parents.” Tanuja, still in disbelief, says, “Shubh can’t have done this.” Shubh suddenly appears, saying, “I don’t owe anyone an explanation. I wanted what was best for Appu. That audio was manipulated.” Anirudh cuts him off, “Don’t say anything else here.” Shubh continues, “Lalon is the commissioner’s relative. This was all a plan to frame me.” Jhanak smirks. Shrishti notices and asks, “Why are you smiling?” Arshi, irritated, adds, “Is this funny to you?” Jhanak sarcastically responds, “We all heard the recording. You know what you did, Shubh. Your license should be revoked.” Shubh, furious, asks, “How dare you say that?” He then turns to Shrishti, demanding, “Slap her.” Anirudh steps in, “She doesn’t need to. I’m here, and you’ll have to go through me first if you want to touch Jhanak. She fought to reveal the truth, and I will always stand by the truth.” He looks at Shubh, disappointed, “I’m no longer proud of you. You’ve shattered my illusion. I misjudged you.”
