Jagriti

Jagriti 6th January 2025 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Kalikant addressing the basti people, accusing Ballu of trying to kill both the basti residents and him, following Amol’s instructions. Ballu denies it, but Kalikant silences him. He accuses Ballu of attempting to kill Gita with a bomb blast, then later trying to kill Jagriti and setting the basti on fire. Champa apologizes on Ballu’s behalf. Jaggu grows suspicious as she realizes that Amol had called Gita, and she has the evidence. She leaves. Kalikant calls Ballu shameless for making his wife bow at his feet. He smirks and recalls telling Ballu that he was leaving him to ensure his help. The flashback ends. Ballu apologizes to Kalikant, explaining that Amol promised to make him the head of the basti. Durjan grows angry with Ballu. Kalikant reveals that Ballu did all this out of jealousy towards Harish. He asks where Harish is, as he was just here. Harish, meanwhile, is on his way and vows that no one can save Amol today.

At home, Gita calls Sapna on video call, asking where she is and who is with her. Amol turns on the lights and tells Gita that Sapna will stay with him, adding that she is no longer her mother. Sapna asks Gita to come there. Gita agrees. Harish arrives and insists he won’t let Amol escape. Gita urges him to go home. Harish reveals that Amol was behind the bomb blast that nearly killed both Gita and Jaggu. He says he won’t leave Amol unpunished. Gita, however, asks him to calm down, saying that Jagriti is also her daughter. She urges him to go home, emphasizing that she knows Amol tried to kill her too. Harish asks her why she hasn’t told anyone the truth, and why she doesn’t leave Amol if she knows how bad he is. Gita says she is helpless and can punish anyone as the judge, but personally, she feels powerless. She compares her situation to what Harish had done seven years ago when he lied about taking 50 lakhs in exchange for their love. She tells him to leave and let her think about what to do next. Harish cries and refuses to go. Gita gazes at him, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Ganga asks Akash to have breakfast, but Akash says he wants to help Jagriti. He wonders how she is doing. Jaggu enters and assures him that everyone is fine. Akash rushes to her and hugs her. Jaggu greets Ganga, who asks if she’s eaten. Jaggu shakes her head, and Ganga goes to get her something to eat. Akash closes the door behind her. Jaggu shares the news that Kalikant tied up Ballu in the basti, and Ballu confessed to setting the basti on fire on Amol’s orders. She says that Amol stole the proof and called Gita to him. She also reveals that Gita referred to her as her daughter the previous day. Akash expresses happiness for her. Jaggu insists they must leave, as she believes Gita has gone to meet Amol. Akash says he’ll eat after returning, then opens the door to find Kalindi standing there. Kalindi asks where they are going, and Akash replies they’re playing a game of cops and robbers. They run off, and Kalindi comments on how ironically, they are playing this game in real life too.

Harish, unable to leave Gita alone, notices her heading to Amol’s place in her car and follows her.

The basti people are furious and decide to burn Ballu alive. Champa apologizes and says he didn’t think about his children. Kalikant prepares to shoot him, but Kalindi steps in and takes him aside. She tells Kalikant that Ballu is merely his pawn and that the real game is with Harish and Jagriti. She advises him to stop punishing Ballu and focus on his true enemies. She reveals that Gita has gone to meet Amol, and Harish is following her. She adds that Akash and Jaggu are also headed there, and says that luck is on their side. She suggests placing the right pawn in front, hinting at a clever strategy. Kalikant is impressed, agreeing that his pawn will take out both the Queen and Minister. He praises Kalindi for her insight, calling her diplomatic approach sharp. He adds that if she becomes his Chanakya, he will rule the world. Ballu and Champa continue to apologize to Kalikant, who appreciates Kalindi’s suggestion and her wisdom.
