Jagriti 5th January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Bindi asking Nanda to prepare lep. She then takes Jaggu outside, while Harish escorts Gita out. Gayatri asks Jamuna to perform shuddhi. She spots Kalindi dressed as a Chitta woman and believes the Chitta has arrived. Kalindi tells her followers that she had never seen fire before, and thanks them for saving her with their prayers. Gayatri instructs Jamuna to throw gangajal on her. Jamuna does so, and Kalindi is taken aback. Bindi applies the lep to Gita. Jaggu inquires about Sapna. Gita mentions that she was with her but wonders where she has gone. Kalindi yells at Jamuna, questioning her sanity. Kalikant enters and asks why she’s bathing here. Kalindi explains that this uneducated woman threw water on her. Gayatri tells her to be thankful that she was saved from the Lathi, and questions why she is dressed in Chitta clothes. Kalikant orders her to go and change. Kalindi leaves, and Gayatri tells Kalikant to manage her, expressing that she doesn’t want her to mix with their people. Kalikant says that once the basti is gone, she’ll have no one else to turn to. The servant informs them that Ballu has arrived.
Jaggu tells Gita, Bindi, and Harish that she had rescued Sapna. Gita comments that Sapna knew about her but hadn’t shared it with them. Bindi wonders why there is hatred towards her. Durjan shares his sorrow about the basti being burnt, but states they must rebuild it overnight. He vows that once they discover who is responsible, they won’t spare that person. Kachori says she knows who did it. Durjan urges her to speak quickly. Kachori reveals that Baba was behind the fire. Nanda protests, claiming her son couldn’t have done such a thing. Kachori insists that Baba and her father were both involved. Durjan grows angry and declares that he will punish Ballu. Nanda counters that Ballu should be punished, but only after the basti is rebuilt. He agrees to this plan, stating the punishment should occur in front of the new basti.
Kalikant beats up Ballu. Kalindi pleads for him to stop. Kalikant drinks some water and tells Ballu that he hasn’t been able to accomplish a single task. He mocks him for not even being able to serve as a dog to the guard. Kalindi urges him to calm down. Gayatri comments that it seems the puppet made the King lose, adding that the King has chosen a weak man as the puppet. She questions what will happen if anyone in the basti learns that Kalikant ordered the destruction. Kalikant asks if he should kill him and take the gun. Gayatri advises him to keep him alive and do something to improve both the present and the future.
Amol calls Kalikant. Kalikant is about to destroy his phone when Gayatri urges him to take the call, reminding him he doesn’t know who might be calling. Amol speaks on the phone, saying that friends help each other in times of need, and claims to have all the proof, which is secure. Kalikant laughs and pretends to be cordial with him. Amol reveals that he will first make a deal with Kalikant’s good wife. He ends the call, mentioning that Kalindi had stolen the proof from him, which his daughter had brought. He recalls meeting Sapna in the basti. Sapna is furious with Gita. Amol checks if she’s fine, and Sapna confesses that she’s not, adding that her mother referred to the Chitta woman as her daughter. Amol stirs her anger against Gita, telling her that they don’t need such a mother, and assures her that her father will always stand by her. He asks if she knows where the Chitta woman’s hut is, and she directs him to Harish’s hut. Amol asks her to stay put and says he will fix everything. He goes inside, searches for the file, and finds it, feeling victorious. The flashback ends. Amol laughs, thinking everyone underestimated him as the puppet, but he will defeat them all.
Harish urges Gita to sit down, mentioning that they will rebuild the basti. Gita says that Ballu must have set the basti on fire on Kalikant’s orders to retrieve the proofs, else he wouldn’t have done such a thing, as the basti is loyal to them. Amol calls Gita and tells her that Kalikant ordered the basti’s destruction to get the proofs, and that he has them. Gita asks about Sapna. Amol says that while everyone was calling Jaggu his daughter, Sapna had returned to him. He asks her to come home, and says he will call when she arrives. Jaggu grows anxious. Harish asks who called. Gita responds that it was Amol and that she must go home. He tells her to wait until morning, but Gita insists she must leave. She hugs Jaggu and departs.
Kalindi brings Ballu, tied up, to the basti and tells Durjan that he burned the basti on Amol’s orders and even tried to kill him.
