Jagriti

Jagriti 4th January 2025 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Ballu dancing to make the kerosene oil spill onto the floor through the pipe onto his clothes. Kachori prays to God, hoping for the safety of the basti, and says that if she hadn’t pretended to faint, how could she have informed Harish and Jaggu to save the basti? Durjan tells Kalikant to give the prize to Sapna and Jaggu. Sapna and Jaggu walk towards the prize trophy. Kalikant signals Ballu to wait, thinking once he leaves, everything will burn to ashes. The kerosene oil is close to the fire. Kalikant announces that Harish’s daughter has won the prize and tells her to take it and leave him alone. Kalindi says, “Leave your life.” Jaggu hears her. Kalikant tells Sapna and Jaggu to share the prize. Sapna grabs the trophy and says she won’t share it with anyone, running away with the trophy. Kachori arrives and warns that the fire is about to destroy the basti. Harish asks what she means. Just then, the kerosene oil reaches the fire, and the kerosene can bursts. Kalikant orders the guards to take the Minister away. The Minister quickly leaves in his car. Kalikant notices Akash and orders his guard to take him and put him in the jeep. Akash says he wants to save Jaggu and the basti and asks to be let go. Kalikant leaves without a response.

Amol panics and calls Kalikant, but he doesn’t answer. Singh asks why he sent Sapna there knowing the situation. Amol accuses Singh of betraying him. Singh responds that everyone was focused on their own future, but he had to consider his as well, and as soon as he learned about Sapna, he came here. Amol worries about Sapna’s safety and reassures Singh that she should be fine. Singh advises Amol to message Kalikant to ensure Sapna is safe, adding that they can leave if Amol insists. Amol explains that if they leave now, the enquiry committee will suspect that they already knew about the fire in the basti. He sends a message to Kalikant.

Akash insists on being allowed to leave, but Kalikant tells him he will scold both him and his mother. He laughs after reading Amol’s message, saying Amol is asking him to change his plan because his daughter is there. He adds, “You’ll pay for the betrayal,” and says that if his daughter isn’t out of the basti by now, she may be in danger. Akash is shocked. Durjan manages to rescue a girl. Jaggu and Kachori try to put out the fire by throwing water on the burning houses. Champa notices Ballu and goes to search for Golu and Kachori. Gita searches for Sapna and tells Jagriti. Sapna is inside a house and calls Gita for help. Gita continues to search for her.

Harish searches for Jaggu, and Bindi also looks for her. Jaggu leaps into the fire, wrapping herself in a blanket to save Sapna. Sapna thanks her, but when she sees Jaggu’s face, she tries to leave, only to fall down.

Singh tells Amol that Kalikant read the message and that Sapna should be safe by now. Amol worries, saying that Kalikant doesn’t hesitate to hurt his own son and won’t let Sapna go so easily. Kalikant returns home with Akash and tells Ganga that if he hadn’t spotted him, Akash would’ve burned along with the basti. He questions why Akash was spying on him in the basti and threatens to hit Ganga with his shoe. He warns them both of being burned alive. Gayatri shouts for him to stop, and Kalikant leaves. Ganga asks what happened in the basti, and Akash, crying, hugs her. Ganga also sobs.

Jaggu sees that Sapna is okay and covers her with a blanket. She urges her to lie down on something, but Sapna refuses. Jaggu convinces her, and Sapna eventually lies down on a wooden slab. Jaggu moves it to safety, and Sapna emerges from the house, looking back at Jaggu, who is still inside. Jaggu tries to escape but can’t. Harish notices Gita’s saree catching fire and quickly throws water on her to put it out. He takes her away from the fire, and Gita calls out for Sapna. Sapna appears and Gita asks if she saw Jaggu. Sapna replies that she didn’t, and Gita, Harish, and others rush to find Jaggu. Gita sees Jaggu, who calls out “Maa,” and is taken aback.

Champa tells Kachori not to reveal that Baba set the fire. Golu agrees and says that if anyone finds out, no one will forgive him. Kachori questions if Golu really did the right thing by burning everyone’s houses. Gita sees Jaggu, rushes into the fire, and hugs her, calling her daughter. Everyone watches from outside. Sapna is filled with anger. Gita says, “I’ll never leave you,” and Jaggu replies, “Maa.” Gita softly calls her “Jagriti” while Jaggu calls her “my dear mother.” Sapna fumes with rage. Jaggu asks if Gita knows that she is her daughter. Gita nods her head and keeps her forehead on Jaggu’s, both crying.

Harish enters and kicks a wooden pillar. Durjan throws the pillar aside. Bindi runs in, finds Jaggu’s hand burnt, and asks Nanda to prepare some ointment for her.
