Jagriti 28th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Gita asking Jaggu why she is selling fruit when there is no one at home. Jaggu replies that her baba is at home and she needs money for his treatment, as he is quite unwell. Gita asks if she will buy all these fruits. Nodding, Gita instructs the driver to load the fruits into the car. Gita attempts to give her a 100 Rs note, but Jaggu declines, showing the impression of a 10 Rs coin on a leaf and stating she wants ten coins like that. Gita smiles and checks her purse, asking the driver for some 10 Rs coins since she only has six. Sapna laughs at Jaggu, calling her illiterate for asking for coins instead of a note. The driver hands over the coins, and Gita gives Jaggu the ten coins. Jaggu beams and starts counting. Gita inquires about her name, but just then, she receives a call. Jaggu says her name is Jagriti, but Gita doesn’t catch it. Jaggu thanks Gita and calls her Mamma. Gita looks at her, and then tells Sapna not to speak like that to anyone. Sapna retorts, asking if Gita is her Mamma or Jaggu’s. Gita glances at Jaggu and gets into the car.
Meanwhile, Mangla tells Durjan not to punish Harish. Nanda questions how she dared to visit Sarkar’s house. Mangla acknowledges his anger but points out that they need 100 rupees. Just then, Jaggu arrives running, announcing she has brought 100 rupees. Durjan is taken aback. She instructs him to extend his hand. His hand trembles as he complies. Jaggu places the 100 Rs coins in his palm, and Durjan recalls Kalikant’s threat. Jaggu urges Durjan to call Vaid ji. Durjan tells Nanda that Jaggu has embarrassed her by winning the challenge. He praises Jaggu and tells her to come to him, expressing his expectations of her. Jaggu asks Bindi if her baba will be okay, and Bindi assures her that he will be. Jaggu tells her unconscious father that she will help him get better.
Gita tastes the food and reminisces about her past with Harish. Jaggu and Mangla pray for Harish’s recovery. Vaid ji informs them that Harish needs rest and requires medicine. Mangla expresses gratitude to the lady who provided money to Jaggu, then scolds Jaggu. Harish regains consciousness and listens to them. Jaggu updates him on everything, saying that Mamma came and gave her the money. Harish comments that your Mamma came as a Devi and helped Jaggu win the challenge. Mangla instructs Bindi to prepare doodh bhaat for Jaggu, noting that it’s the first time she has done something beneficial for her son. Harish asks Jaggu about the fruit, mentioning he has never heard of it. Jaggu explains that she named it Ram phal because it was near the temple. Harish ponders this.
Jaggu describes Gita and her daughter, mentioning that the daughter was arrogant but that Mamma was like her. Bindi agrees. Jaggu then asks Bindi about her mother, wondering why she left her and went to God. Bindi comforts her, saying her mother didn’t abandon her; she watches over her from the sky and her love is always present. Bindi explains that her mother used to be cheerful like Jaggu and wanted to bring light into their lives. Jaggu notices a broken star and prays to Ram ji to send her mother to her. Harish interjects, saying no one can come from so far away. Bindi hugs Jaggu, who appears sad. Bindi reassures her that she has her Baba, mausi, Dadi, and everyone else. Jaggu declares that one day, she will bring her mother down from the sky to the ground. Harish and Bindi are taken aback.
