Jagriti 24th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Jaggu telling Kachori that she is considering going out at night to finish all her work by morning, allowing her time to study. She overhears everyone discussing their responsibilities regarding food. Durjan mentions that everything is arranged. Kachori’s mother asks how Harish will take the rounds, to which Ballu responds that he will lift Harish and help him take the rounds. They all laugh, and Jaggu tells Kachori that she won’t be going to the haveli now because she has other work to do. Akash apologizes to Ganga, who expresses her worry and questions why he left without informing her. Akash says sorry, and Ganga urges him not to do it again. He explains he felt bad for Jagriti, prompting her to agree but remind him not to repeat his actions.
Gayatri reassures Kalikant, telling him not to worry and that the investigation report will be in their favor. Kalikant expresses concern about Gita’s decision, fearing she may give a verdict against them. Gayatri responds that while the court may belong to Gita, the land and its people are theirs. He seeks her blessings.
Jaggu is seen fixing the wheelchair for Harish, ensuring he can take the rounds comfortably. Kachori asks her to be careful, fearing Dadda might wake up and get angry. Jaggu states she can handle his scolding, and Kachori decides to help her.
In the court, the inspector hands over a clean chit report to Kalikant, proclaiming “Jai ho sarkar.” Kalikant smiles as Gita arrives. He greets her, stating that while every officer visits him, she has yet to do so, so he took the initiative. Gita retorts that this illustrates the difference between a true leader and a fake one. Kalikant inquires if she plans to act against the Chittas, given the investigation committee’s report, taunting her about her past inability to stand up to him. She counters that he is still standing before her. Amol arrives and questions Kalikant about his meeting with Gita, but she states she has many cases to handle before leaving.
Mangla tells Harish to get ready, and he asks where Jaggu is, noting she hasn’t visited him. Kachori brings the wheelchair and explains that Jaggu went to the haveli so he wouldn’t have to rely on anyone else. Bindi acknowledges Jaggu’s efforts despite being upset with her.
Jaggu arrives at the haveli and asks Jamuna for work. Jamuna instructs her to start by sweeping the floor. Jaggu proceeds to clean the house and prays in the temple. Jamuna then tells her to iron the clothes. Jaggu takes the clothes and begins ironing. Akash walks in and questions why she hasn’t gone to school. She replies that it’s a holiday, but Guru ji is coming home today. Jaggu thinks this means she’ll get an education today. She hastily finishes ironing all the clothes. A servant brings in a board and places it in the hall, leading Jaggu to believe Guru ji has arrived and that her work is complete. Jamuna invites her to have food, but Jaggu heads to the cowshed with the slate, recalling Akash’s words.
Guru ji instructs Suraj to focus on his own book and not on Akash’s, directing him to solve a division problem. Jaggu enters and expresses her desire to study as well. Suraj gets upset. Gayatri arrives, scolding Jaggu and questioning her audacity to think she could study with her grandsons. In a fit of rage, she tries to burn Jaggu’s face with the iron, but Akash shouts “Dadi,” while Ganga calls out for her. Kalikant intervenes, demanding that she stop. Gayatri halts her actions. Kalikant walks in with Amol, sternly reminding Jaggu that education and school are not for her, asking who encouraged her to believe she could study at the haveli. Guru ji tells Kalikant to allow him to leave, and he complies. Gayatri inquires who encouraged Jaggu to study. Ganga admits it was her idea, asserting that Jaggu is clever and can learn to improve her life. Kalikant becomes furious, ordering a servant to take Amol to the office. He angrily snatches the slate from Jaggu’s hand and forcibly drags Ganga away. Akash pleads with him to let her go. Kalikant takes Ganga to the kitchen, causing a food utensil to fall. He orders her to burn the slate, and Akash protests, saying, “No, Papa.” Kalikant warns that if she weren’t his blood, there would be consequences. He insists Ganga burn the slate, while Jaggu cries out in protest. Jamuna tries to stop her, but Kalikant declares he will determine Chitta’s future and demands Ganga to burn the slate. Ganga is compelled to throw the slate into the fire as Jaggu yells “No,” reflecting on Akash, Kachori, and Kalikant’s harsh words.
