Jagriti 22nd September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Golu’s friend suggesting he use a catapult. Golu responds, saying they should wait until Jaggu gets closer to the beehive. Meanwhile, Kachori arrives holding some grass and tells Jaggu that Kaki had taught her how to extract honey from the hive. She explains that once they light a fire, the smoke will cause the bees to fly away, leaving the honey behind. She sets the grass on the ground and starts a fire, but Jaggu hurriedly asks her to wait until she climbs down. Golu, aiming at the hive with the catapult, tells his friend that this is their chance to teach her a lesson. His friend warns that breaking the hive could result in Kachori getting stung as well. Golu coldly replies that it’s her fault for helping Jaggu go against Dadda, and that she deserves to be punished. They aim and strike the hive with the catapult.
Seeing this, Jaggu and Kachori shout at them to stop. Golu taunts them, telling them to take the honey now. Harish approaches the scene. Golu threatens Kachori, saying that when they return home, he’ll have Amma teach her a lesson. The disturbed honeybees swarm through the air. Jaggu quickly climbs down the tree and checks on Kachori, who assures him she’s fine. However, the bees begin flying towards them. Jaggu prays to Shri Ram for help, but the bees veer towards Golu and his friends, attacking them as they try to escape. Kachori suggests to Jaggu to shoo the bees away, but one bee falls into the fire and burns. Jaggu tries to save it, but it’s too late. Kachori apologizes to Jaggu, who reassures her, saying she’s a good friend and that he’s more worried about how he’ll earn money for his father’s treatment now.
Just then, Harish arrives and embraces Jaggu. He tells her that risking her life for his sake isn’t worth it, and that it’s a father’s responsibility to provide for his child, not the other way around. Jaggu, concerned, says she would be devastated if anything happened to him and asks why he came here. Suddenly, Harish faints and collapses. Panicking, Jaggu shouts for help and prays to Ram for assistance. Spotting a pushcart, she tells Kachori, and they rush to get it.
Meanwhile, Durjan laughs as he listens to Golu’s complaints. Golu’s mother, puzzled, asks Durjan why he’s laughing when Jaggu has humiliated Golu. Durjan explains that history is repeating itself, and he is proud that Jaggu has inherited her father’s courage. Jaggu and Kachori manage to get Harish onto the cart. Jaggu instructs Kachori to inform Badki Amma about her father’s condition and asks Mausi to summon the Vaid ji (doctor). At the same time, Ballu’s wife tries to stir up Nanda against Jaggu.
Jaggu pulls the cart and brings Harish to Nanda. Nanda instructs Ballu to lay Harish on a bed. Just as Mangla arrives and scolds Jaggu, Nanda orders someone to call Vaid ji so Harish’s treatment can begin. Ballu is sent to fetch the doctor, and soon Bindi arrives with Vaid ji. Nanda asks him to start treating Harish and praises Jaggu for her bravery in pulling the cart to bring her father there. She then tells Golu to fetch water for Jaggu. Golu, albeit reluctantly, brings the water, which Jaggu gratefully drinks.
Nanda suddenly stops Vaid ji and asks Jaggu for 100 rupees, sarcastically remarking that she thought Jaggu had earned money by selling honey. Jaggu, concerned, pleads for her father’s treatment. Durjan seizes the moment and declares that since Jaggu didn’t earn any money, she has lost the challenge. He scolds her, saying earning money is no easy task, and if she wants her father to be treated, she must become “Chitta” and eat non-vegetarian food. Jaggu is visibly shaken. Durjan presses her, asking if she’s willing to eat meat.
