Jagriti 21st October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Gayatri causing a plate to fall, stating that no food or water will be given until the sugar and mustard seeds are separated. Akash and Suraj arrive home, and Suraj informs Ganga that the Chitta girl visited their school. Ganga acknowledges this. Jaggu considers seeking Akash’s assistance with the task of separating mustard seeds from sugar. She approaches him with a water jug and a bowl containing the seeds and sugar, asking how to separate them. He responds with uncertainty, questioning her behavior as if she doesn’t know everything. Inadvertently, he touches the jug, causing water to spill into the bowl. Akash then walks away, and Suraj mocks Jaggu.
Later, during dinner, Ganga asks Akash why he isn’t eating. Suraj explains that the Chitta girl embarrassed him in front of the class. Akash retorts that Suraj was the one punished, not him. Suraj tells Kalikant that the Chitta girl is very knowledgeable, pretending to be ignorant. Kalikant demands to call the Chitta girl, suspecting Durjan is deceiving him. He writes a question on paper and asks her to respond. She takes a pencil and draws a line. Kalikant insists she write the answer. Jagriti writes it down, causing Akash to feel upset. Ganga tries to stop him, but Akash expresses frustration at wanting to teach her, only to realize she already knows everything. Ganga leads him to the hall, where Kalikant questions how she knows the answer. She explains that she observed Guru ji writing on the board. Gayatri asserts that she learned from just one viewing. Jaggu insists that if they doubt her, she will demonstrate her skill. She spots a painting and replicates it, leaving Kalikant astonished. Just then, a servant announces that Chittas have arrived for darshan. Kalikant discards the drawing in annoyance and steps outside. Jagriti picks it up, emphasizing the importance of respecting education, likening it to God.
Durjan tells Kalikant to step into the haldi bowl, indicating blessings for the marriage of Harish and Bindi. Kalikant complies, touching the haldi bowl with his foot. Durjan and the other Chittas praise him and present him with elephant tusks, which Kalikant inspects.
Jaggu contemplates how to separate mustard seeds from sugar and remembers her friend in the haveli who is also upset. Jamuna approaches Jaggu, urging her to hurry since Harish and Bindi’s wedding is imminent. Jaggu is taken aback and questions whom she will call “Maa” now. She rushes out of the kitchen. Kalikant instructs them to proceed with the marriage. Durjan and others cheer for him. Jamuna chases after Jaggu, telling her to stop. Jaggu thinks about Harish’s advice on how to navigate collisions in the jungle. Kalikant glares at her. Jaggu claims she hasn’t seen him before, while Jamuna apologizes. Kalikant walks away, continuing his phone call. Jaggu approaches Durjan as they leave, celebrating. Durjan tells her she will gain a mother. Jaggu asks why Bindi Mausi is marrying Baba. Durjan explains that Bindi handles all the chores and looks after both her and Harish. She asks why this was not communicated to her. He admits he hadn’t informed Harish either. Jaggu insists on being taken to Baba. Jamuna warns that it isn’t the right time. Durjan adds that she must follow the haveli’s orders and cannot go.
Meanwhile, Ganga clarifies to Akash that Jaggu isn’t good at math; she simply recreated the picture she saw on the board. She emphasizes that Jaggu is sharp-minded and only replicated what she observed. Akash feels remorse for sabotaging her task. Jaggu beams with joy as she sees the mustard seeds separating from the sugar as the water drains away.
