Jagriti 20th November 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Jaggu entering Gita’s room. Sapna notices her and angrily exclaims, “Chitta girl, how dare you?” She rushes toward her and pushes her to the ground. Jaggu asks, “What have you done?” Sapna replies, “Everyone is fighting here because of you.” Amol signals the guard to step outside. Jaggu explains, “I came to apply sindoor and tie Suraksha dhaaga to Sapna’s mother, but Sapna ruined it.” Solanki comments, “But look at the twist of fate—Gita now has the sindoor on her forehead.” Sujata urges Solanki to leave the past behind. He asks, “Can we just forget the past?” Sujata replies, “If the truth comes out, society will torment her.” She adds that women suffer the most in society and urges Jagriti to protect her daughter. She says, “You care so much for your mother, now understand this mother’s pain and protect my daughter.” She pleads, “If you want Gita to survive, leave her life for good.” Amol smiles. Jaggu, teary-eyed, listens quietly.
Sujata continues, “If the world learns that Gita has a ‘Chitta’ daughter, neither your mother nor Sapna’s mother will be saved.” She begs Jaggu not to reveal to Gita that she is her daughter. Jaggu recalls confronting Harish and Bindi for their lies. She says, “Mausi, now I understand why you used to tell me that my mother has become a star and stays far away, that she would take a long time to return.” She adds, “The mother of my mother wants to stop that time.” She ties the thread around Gita’s wrist and places her hand on her head, swearing, “I swear on you, Maa, that you shall live long and your life shall be great.” She promises, “I will do anything for you, even if I have to reveal this truth or keep it hidden from everyone.” Amol interrupts, saying, “Enough with the drama!” He warns, “If you meet her again, she will be lost to you forever.” Solanki and Sujata weep. Jaggu bows her head to Gita’s feet, removes her anklet, and says, “This is for Maa and Baba’s safekeeping.” She adds, “If Maa sees this, she will discover the truth.” She hands it over to Amol and runs away.
Jaggu arrives at the Ram temple, lost in thought as she recalls her encounters with Gita. She remembers how she had saved her. She then imagines Mangla blaming both Gita and herself, calling them inauspicious. Jaggu places her hands over her ears. Gita’s condition worsens. Jaggu envisions Sapna and Sujata accusing her. Suddenly, she imagines Gita walking toward her. Jaggu says, “Everyone told me not to reveal the truth to you.” Gita, in her vision, replies, “You are my daughter, Jagriti. If society wants to kill her because of the truth, she will die, but she will always claim she is my daughter.” Jaggu, realizing it’s just her imagination, shouts “Maa!” She questions God, asking why He made her meet her mother if she can never call her “Maa.” A sadhu baba appears and asks, “Why are you crying?” Jagriti answers, “For my mother.” The sadhu baba offers, “If you have doubts, ask me.” Meanwhile, the doctor checks Gita and confirms she is no longer in danger. Sapna anxiously asks, “Why isn’t she waking up?” The doctor explains, “She’s unconscious, but a divine power is protecting her.” The sadhu baba advises Jaggu to complete the fast she had undertaken for her mother’s health.
