Jagriti

Jagriti 14th October 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Jagriti entering the kitchen. She notices the toaster and comments that it jumped. The servant explains that it’s a bread toaster. Jamuna instructs her to learn how to grind masalas, telling her that she must start helping out from tomorrow. Jagriti glances at the fridge and asks if it’s a cold box. Jamuna confirms, then asks her to serve cold drinks to everyone. Jagriti stumbles while carrying the tray. Gita mentions that considering Chitta’s financial condition, it seems they aren’t benefiting from the smuggling, which is why she is ordering the police to investigate. Ratna and Bindi arrive at the court, with Bindi expressing concern that they might be in trouble if Dadda finds out they are there. They spot Gita leaving the courtroom, accompanied by the police and her lawyer. She gets into her car and departs. Ratna identifies her as Gita, leaving Bindi shocked. Bindi urges Harish to let the past go and focus on the present. Harish responds that there is darkness everywhere, implying she wouldn’t understand since she hasn’t loved anyone. Bindi reflects that those who can express their feelings are fortunate. The flashback ends.

Jagriti is seen bringing the tray outside. Akash rushes to her and steadies the tray. Sapna and Suraj tease Jagriti. Akash tells Sapna that Jagriti hasn’t had the privileges they have, and he doesn’t expect such behavior from her. He sets the tray down and walks away, with Sapna following him. Jaggu watches this unfold. Ganga is pleased with Akash’s perspective.

Bindi observes Raka approaching with the police. Ratna questions why he accepted the crime. Raka claims it’s a matter of pride for him, as he did it for his community. He tells her to engage in baby talk and assures her he’ll return soon. Ratna inquires about Gita’s presence. Raka explains that she aims to change their destiny and bring light into Jaggu’s life. He believes that once Jaggu sees the light, they all will benefit.

Solanki asks Kalikant why he summoned him today. Kalikant silently threatens him, advising him to make his daughter retract her order for the investigation. Solanki asks what will happen if he doesn’t comply. Kalikant ominously suggests that if the wild tiger is unleashed, many will face dire consequences. He compares himself to a chess player manipulating both sides. He pours water for Solanki and then deliberately throws the glass to the ground. Solanki’s wife questions the noise, while Ganga and Jamuna go to investigate. Kalikant’s mother, Gayatri, asks Jagriti to check on the situation. Jagriti approaches Kalikant, inquiring what needs to be done. Kalikant instructs her to clean the floor. Jagriti goes to fetch a broom. Solanki is appalled that Kalikant would make a little girl clean up. Kalikant retorts that Solanki’s concern is misplaced, referring to Jagriti as the result of Gita and Harish’s actions. Solanki, shocked, watches Jagriti cleaning up the broken glass. Kalikant warns him that he doesn’t want their daughters to unite, urging him to convince his daughter to dismiss the investigation. He adds that if Gita meets her daughter, it will be entertaining. Amol enters the scene.

Solanki is taken aback by Amol’s arrival. Amol, on a call, removes his earpiece and greets Solanki, stating that while Thakur Sahab is his friend, he is performing his duty. He confronts Kalikant, suggesting he investigate his own crimes and eliminate any evidence. Noticing Jagriti cleaning, he tells Kalikant that exploiting child labor is a crime. Jagriti asks what crime she has committed. Amol responds that her crime is speaking too much. Kalikant orders her to leave. Solanki feels ashamed. Kalikant smirks.

Gita contemplates Raka’s words and wonders if he was implying something about Harish. She takes a glass of water, and as she does, a photo frame falls. Gita picks up a picture of herself with Sapna, recalling Solanki’s words. She resolves not to let her troubled past impact her present and vows to protect her child from any issues.

Bindi remarks that Raka acknowledged Gita as her sister, yet she sentenced him. She laments that she couldn’t claim Gita for herself, questioning her true intentions. Ratna asks if Bindi plans to inform Harish. Bindi insists that she must alert him. Ratna warns that Harish may run after Gita and reveal the truth to her, which could lead to severe consequences from Sarkar. She worries that if Gita takes Jaggu away, they may never see her again, leading Dadda to plead for her return.

Sapna tells Akash and Suraj that Jagriti referred to her Mamma as her Mamma. Akash suggests they move on. Suraj angrily questions how Jagriti dares to call Sapna’s Mamma her own. Jaggu defends her by saying that just like Suraj is Chote Sarkar, she is Jagriti, and Mamma can refer to anyone who educates and empowers her. Suraj insists that Mamma means Mother. Sapna asks if Jagriti has a mother. Jagriti’s eyes well up with tears. Akash tells Sapna to stop. Jagriti explains that her Mamma is in the sky watching over her. Amol calls for Sapna, prompting her to bump into Jagriti, causing the tray to fall and herself to stumble, hurting her knee. Jaggu advises her, “As you sow, so shall you reap,” and offers her hand to help Sapna up. Sapna observes in silence while Akash smiles.
