Jagriti 11th October 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with the truck driver pulling open the truck door. Harish and Jaggu find themselves in Kalikant’s house. Jaggu pleads with them to let her Baba go. The truck driver collects money from Kalikant and praises him. Kalikant signals for him to leave. Jaggu insists they leave her Baba alone. Raka arrives at the basti and witnesses the police beating the Chitta men, leaving him shocked. Durjan questions the Inspector about the beatings. The Inspector retorts, asking if he dares to question him, a born criminal. Kalikant brutally beats Harish and tortures him. Harish begs him to let his daughter go. Kalikant demands that Harish call him Sarkar.

Akash hears Jaggu shouting for Kalikant to free Harish and asks Ganga for help. He insists they must intervene. Suraj teases Akash, while Dadi shuts the windows. Jaggu confronts Kalikant, questioning why he poured kerosene oil on her Baba. Kalikant strikes a match. Jaggu cries out in fear, but Kalikant extinguishes it, claiming the fire will be ignited by gunfire now. Just then, he sees the Inspector approaching with Durjan, Raka, and others. Jaggu spots them and calls for help. Kalikant asks the Inspector why he brought the Chittas there.

The Inspector explains that the new SP has seized a truck carrying elephant tusks, and the driver confessed to working for Kalikant. He adds that he placed all the blame on the Chittas. Kalikant angrily responds that the Inspector should have taken them elsewhere. The Inspector informs Kalikant that the SP wanted to see him, which is why he summoned him. Kalikant orders his servants to clean up quickly. One of the servants assists Harish into a wheelchair and cleans the kerosene oil from the floor. Kalikant inquires when the SP will arrive. The Inspector replies that he should be on his way.

SP Amol arrives and asks the Inspector why he called him there, instructing him to take Kalikant. Kalikant’s men shout at them. The Inspector informs Amol that Kalikant/Sarkar’s authority rules in this area. Amol threatens to suspend him. Jaggu begs Amol to save her Baba. Amol tells her to calm down and asks who she is. Jaggu replies that they are Chitta.

Gita expresses her desire to help the girl, but Solanki reminds her of her past. Gita reminisces about everything. Her father questions why she would want to repeat the same mistake that took years to resolve. He warns her that Amol doesn’t know about her history, and if he finds out, what will happen? Her mother urges her not to revisit the past, reminding her that her life is good now with a lovely daughter and a good husband. Solanki advises her to consider her position, reminding her she is a magistrate with an IPS husband. He cautions that if the past surfaces, people will gossip. Gita resolves to bury the past and focus on the present. Jaggu continues to plead with Amol to help them. As she reaches to touch his hands, he pulls back, stating her hands are dirty and his uniform will get stained. He asks her to explain the situation. Jaggu recounts how they were brought there by Sarkar, who has beaten them severely, asking if he will help. Amol agrees.

At that moment, Kalikant sends a message to Amol. The Inspector comments that this was bound to happen. Kalikant warns Amol that while he may not know what inquiries have been made about him, he has done his homework on Amol. He invites Amol to step inside and discuss how he will save the Chittas. Jaggu clings to Amol’s feet, staining his uniform further. Amol looks visibly upset. Gita vows to protect Sapna from losing her mother again due to her attachment to the Chitta girl. She questions what connection she has with Jaggu. Jaggu insists she will clean his uniform and urges him to save them. Kalikant’s mother advises him to speak with Solanki. Kalikant suggests that Amol should worry about reaching a compromise with him, or he will twist his fingers.

Kalikant offers money to Amol, who refuses, citing his principles of honesty. Amol emerges and instructs the Chittas to declare that the truck does not belong to them, stating he knows Kalikant is framing them. He encourages them to speak up. The Inspector prompts Durjan, but no one speaks against Kalikant. Jaggu volunteers to tell the truth, explaining that Sarkar is exploiting and torturing them. The Inspector tells Jaggu to step back, admonishing her for ruining Amol’s uniform. Amol reprimands the Inspector for addressing a young girl in such a manner and instructs him not to do it again. Jaggu watches in astonishment.
