The episode begins with Chandan contemplating why he doesn’t feel upset; Adrija is his daughter, yet he feels happy for Meghla. Meghla urges Ranbir to declare it’s a prank. Ranbir insists, “You think I’m joking, Meghla? It’s an important day for me. I’ve expressed my feelings, and I’m in full control of my senses. Am I not suitable for you?” Adrija watches silently, tears in her eyes. Ranbir apologizes to everyone, saying, “We can fix this mistake. I’m sorry, Adrija; I never wanted to marry you. I only love Meghla and want to marry her.” Meghla responds, “But I don’t want to.” As “Bolna mahi bolna…” plays in the background, Meghla declares, “This can’t happen,” and walks away. Ranbir pleads for someone to talk to Meghla, stating that if she agrees, they can proceed with the ceremony. Chandan remarks, “You know what’s happening here.” Ranbir says he’s willing to apologize to Adrija, stressing it’s a miscommunication. “Do you want me to marry Adrija? She won’t be happy, and we can’t be happy either.”

Meghla goes to meet Guru ji, who asks if she’s alone. She hugs him and cries. He observes her emotional state regarding Adrija’s marriage and questions her desire to stay. She replies, “I can’t go back home ever.” He asks whether the Aashirwad rasam took place, to which she replies no. Ranbir expresses his intention to find a suitable partner for Adrija. Chandan insists they will care for her as her parents.

Balveer reprimands Ranbir, who claims he’s ready to take the blame but cannot let this mistake continue. Meher comments that they believed he loved Adrija and wanted to marry her. Ranbir explains, “I made a mistake. I spoke to you on the phone, and you heard Meghla singing. I mentioned I enjoy hearing her voice, hoping you would understand that Meghla and Adrija are the same age.” Chandan declares he cannot marry off Meghla first. Ranbir offers to wait if Meghla is willing. Param expresses sympathy for both Adrija and Meghla. Harman admits he never imagined this situation. Simran questions how Ranbir expected Meghla to reciprocate his feelings. Ranbir responds, “I thought Meghla would understand me; ask her once, maybe she’ll agree.” Balveer interrupts, stating, “Enough! We spoke about the roka, and you will marry Adrija; that’s final.” Diljot challenges, “Is marriage a joke? If Ranbir says he doesn’t want to marry Adrija, will you force him? You’ve already ruined my life.” Dadi intervenes, apologizing to Chandan. She insists they came for Adrija’s roka, and Ranbir will marry her. Chandan asserts, “Do you really think Adrija will marry Ranbir after knowing this truth? She has her self-respect and will never forget this insult.” Guru ji mentions he must call her dad now, but Meghla stops him. He inquires why she’s crying and presses her for an explanation. Meghla explains that they did come, but the rasam didn’t occur. He asks about Ranbir, and she reveals, “Ranbir said he doesn’t want to marry Adrija.” He responds, “I see,” and she confesses, “I don’t understand how this happened. Everyone will misunderstand me. Adrija won’t tolerate my presence; she likes Ranbir a lot and won’t forgive me.” Guru ji asks her what she wants, and she replies, “I want to stay here; I want Ranbir to marry Adrija.” He suggests that Ranbir liked her and she might not have realized it.
