Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 18th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Ranbir spotting Meghla at the traffic signal. The song *Aankhein Teri* plays in the background as he admires her beautiful eyes from afar. He eventually drives away and reaches the hotel. Upon entering, he meets the family. Meher, emotional at seeing him, starts crying, while Harman hugs him warmly. Meanwhile, Mahua and her husband Chandan are having a disagreement. She smiles as she packs their clothes, telling him to leave his books behind and not to bother reading on their upcoming trip. She takes his books away, playfully nagging. Chandan protests, asking her what she means by this, and calls on their daughter Adrija for support. Mahua insists that they’re going to Darjeeling for only a week, so there’s no need to pack so much. Chandan relents, saying he’ll manage with just three pairs of clothes. He heads to answer the door, guessing that perhaps Meghla has arrived.
Inside the house, Ranbir tries to comfort Meher, telling her not to worry. She asks him to quit his job as a pilot, expressing her constant anxiety whenever he’s flying. Ranbir tries to cheer her up, lightening the mood.
Back at the other house, Meghla reassures everyone that she doesn’t have much luggage and can manage on her own. However, Adrija adamantly refuses to share her suitcase and scolds Meghla. The two sisters continue their bickering, with Mahua trying to mediate. Adrija stubbornly says Meghla will need another suitcase. Meghla offers to manage with a smaller bag, but Chandan steps in and tells Adrija she needs to learn to compromise, saying, “You’ll need to adjust.” Mahua interjects, noting that they’re already over their budget for the trip. Despite this, Chandan offers to get a new travel bag for Meghla, but she insists she can keep everything in her handbag. Adrija, still annoyed, snaps back, claiming Meghla always gets her way and that her own opinions are never considered.
Feeling slighted, Adrija lashes out at Meghla, belittling her and making her cry. She accuses Meghla of trying to compete with her. Meghla, with tears in her eyes, calmly responds, “I’m not trying to copy you. I know what works for you will never work for me.” The argument escalates until Chandan steps in again, reprimanding Adrija for her rude behavior. Adrija storms off in frustration.
Back at Ranbir’s family gathering, the conversation shifts to a potential girl for Ranbir. Meher enthusiastically suggests setting up a meeting with her, while Ranbir, clearly uncomfortable, asks Harman for some backup. Harman jokes, saying they will finalize Ranbir’s alliance this time. Meher agrees, teasing that Ranbir doesn’t seem to like any girl they suggest. As the conversation continues, Ranbir quietly smiles, lost in thoughts of Meghla, with *Rabb Rakha* playing softly in the background.
