Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 16th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Meghla singing “Sawariya” while Adrija is still asleep. She wakes up, annoyed, and comments that Meghla has started her singing again. Meanwhile, Captain Ranbir is shown flying a plane to Mumbai, chatting with his colleague Tania. Meghla’s parents are also awake, and her mother remarks that they need to focus on educating their daughters. She laments that singers were once respected, but times have changed, and now singers have little value; she believes they need to get the girls married. Meghla finishes her song and smiles.
At the Bajwa household, Ranbir’s family is eagerly awaiting his arrival as they prepare for a hotel inauguration. Dada ji expresses disappointment, saying that Ranbir prefers flying planes rather than managing their family business. Tania curiously asks Ranbir why he chose to become a pilot instead of taking over the family business. He explains that it’s all about passion for him, adding that there’s thrill and excitement in this job.
Back at Meghla’s home, her mother calls out to Meghla and Adrija. She and her husband get into a brief argument about the girls. Meghla responds, saying she’s coming. Meanwhile, Dadi remarks that they should find a suitable girl for Ranbir, someone who can keep him grounded. Aunty jokes that Ranbir will end up listening to his wife and following her every word.
On the flight, Ranbir remains focused as he continues his journey. Meghla greets her parents, and Adrija scolds her for disrupting her sleep. Meghla apologizes, but their father supports her, saying that classical music in the morning is relaxing, not irritating. Their mother insists that they need to finish their work.
Ranbir’s mother, Meher, mentions that he has already rejected two marriage proposals. Aunty suggests that they meet Singh’s daughter, hoping Ranbir might like her. Meanwhile, Meghla drinks her milk, and Adrija taunts her once again. Their father advises Adrija to speak kindly to Meghla and behave properly. He then asks Meghla to sit, noticing she looks upset. Meghla becomes teary-eyed.
On the flight, Ranbir and Tania encounter a storm. Tania informs him that they have lost contact with ATC. Ranbir reassures her to stay calm and keep control of the situation. Meanwhile, Ranbir’s family gets news about the flight and begins to worry. Meher becomes visibly anxious. Meghla, on the other hand, arrives at her music class. Her Guru ji welcomes her and asks her to take a seat.
During the flight, an elderly man falls ill. The air hostess informs Ranbir about the situation. He quickly asks Tania to take over while he attends to the passenger. He checks on the man and asks what happened. The man’s wife explains that he has asthma, but his inhaler is in the checked baggage. Ranbir reassures everyone and helps the man, easing the tension on the flight. He then rushes back to his seat to manage the plane.
At the music class, Guru ji compliments Meghla, saying that the melody suits her voice perfectly. Meghla continues singing as Ranbir manages the flight situation skillfully.
