Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 12th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Ranbir conversing with Simran and Nimrit. Nimrit asserts that she will marry the person of her choice. Dadu responds, amused, noting that she’s making bold statements and reminds her of the rules in their household. Nimrit clarifies she was just expressing her desire to work. Dadu insists that she won’t be allowed to do so. Meher interjects, saying they can’t impose their past rules on their children; Nimrit should have the freedom to work, and if she marries, she shouldn’t have to rely solely on her in-laws and husband for everything. Bua arrives and hugs Ranbir, playfully asking him to promise that he will take her out again. Ranbir agrees. Harman inquires about the trip, and Meher asks Ranbir if he met someone special there. Ranbir shares details about Meghla, prompting Param and Harman to tease him. He says they can discuss it later. Param mentions that Meher has found a girl for him. The family enthusiastically informs him about Meher arranging his marriage into a good family. Ranbir protests, saying, “No, Mum…” Meher retorts that no one considers her feelings. He insists he hasn’t rejected the idea of marriage, asking her to calm down. Dadu firmly states they have chosen that girl, and that’s final. Ranbir argues back, and Meher reprimands him.
Ranbir expresses his belief that no other girl can dictate his life; he is passionate about his job and tries to convey the risks involved. Dadu becomes angry and chastises Diljot, instructing Ranbir not to defend her. Ranbir counters that her life has been shattered due to certain people’s actions. He stands up for Bua. Balveer comments that dwelling on past mistakes is pointless. Dadu maintains he doesn’t regret his past actions. Dadi, in tears, calls him out, saying Diljot could have had children and a loving husband. He tells her to be quiet. Diljot holds Dadu responsible for her situation.
Dadu sits down, looking defeated. Meher states that she has made a commitment to them; if Ranbir has doubts, he should meet the girl once. Ranbir declines, adding that he already likes someone else. The family smiles as he reveals that he met a Bengali family and would like to marry their daughter. Dadu promptly states his disapproval of this relationship.
