The episode begins with Meghla saying she can’t hurt Adrija. Chandan replies that Ranbir loves her, and this was bound to happen; she can’t change her fate. Ranbir loves her, and it’s not a crime to marry him. Meghla cries and refuses. Ranbir watches quietly. Chandan insists that this marriage can happen. Ranbir says he doesn’t want to force Meghla, perhaps he’s not the right person for her. Chandan tells him to wait, as he’s getting emotional. He continues, love isn’t just about expressing feelings, Meghla knows she holds a special place in his heart. She’s thinking about Adrija now, but Meghla always puts others first, even if it causes her pain. Today, she must think about her own happiness. He promises to get them married.
Meher asks Param where Ranbir is, since it’s Lohri today. Param says he’s gone for some important work. Dadi tells Simran to call Ranbir. Simran says he’s not answering. Arjun calls Ranbir and finds his phone is off. Meher gets worried. Nimrit suggests calling Adrija’s house to check. Balveer says it’s unnecessary; people will start worrying if he isn’t back. Ranbir finally comes home. Arjun asks him what’s going on. Meher and Arjun scold him.
Balveer asks Ranbir to explain. Ranbir says he went to Meghla’s house because it was important. Kamal asks what’s the matter. Harman wonders if Adrija is blackmailing him. Ranbir says no, he went there for Meghla. Param thinks Ranbir has made the right choice. Ranbir says his marriage is in two days, but with Meghla, not Adrija, if Meghla agrees. If not, then the marriage won’t happen. Kaki tells Chandan he didn’t do the right thing. Chandan says he doesn’t care about anyone’s opinions; he’s doing what’s right for his daughters.
