Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 28th August 2024 Written Update
The Thakkars arrive at the Janmashtami celebration at Bhuleshwar to participate in the dahi handi event. The locals applaud them as they make their entrance. Rajendra and Tara discuss how Rajat has become an inspiration for the youth, achieving success through his hard work. Meanwhile, Arsh drives towards Bhuleshwar, with Ashika questioning why he’s taking her there instead of the Karjat farm party. Arsh, with ulterior motives, assures her she’ll have a good time and internally thinks about the shock Rajat will face today.
At the event, the host welcomes Rajat and his family, expressing gratitude that Rajat finally accepted their invitation. Rajat mentions how returning to his old neighborhood brings back memories. He recalls inviting Arsh to the dahi handi event. Arsh arrives with Ashika, and as Rajat is busy breaking the dahi handi, Arsh flirts with Ashika.
Ashika, clearly displeased, asks Arsh why he brought her back to the Bhuleshwar lanes, a place she thought she had left behind for good. Arsh cryptically tells her that she’ll enjoy meeting some old faces. The host then announces the two sponsors of the event: Mr. Rajat Thakkar, a former local, and Mr. Arsh Gujral. As Arsh and Ashika step forward, the Thakkars are visibly annoyed. The host pulls Arsh aside while local women start fawning over Ashika, admiring her beauty and designer outfit. They also gossip about how both Rajat and Arsh were infatuated with her. Savi overhears the women talking, saying that Rajat is still hung up on Ashika, recalling how he gave her credit during the award function. Ashika, noticing Savi listening, plays along, suggesting there might be some truth to it, hinting that Rajat’s feelings might still linger.
Tara overhears and steps in, delivering a sharp retort to Ashika. She points out that Rajat has moved on with his life and is happily married to Savi, while Ashika’s boyfriend has yet to marry her, keeping their relationship as nothing more than an affair. Savi pulls Tara away as she continues to lash out at Ashika. Ashika remembers Arsh’s promise that he will marry her once they settle things with Sai out of court.
As the event progresses, Sai ties a headband to Rajat, with Savi’s help. Tara smirks at Ashika. The host then asks Rajat to climb the human ladder to break the dahi handi. As Rajat climbs and is about to break the handi, Arsh joins him and starts taunting him. He claims that six years ago, during a similar Janmashtami festival, he got intimate with Ashika, leading to Sai’s birth, insinuating that Sai is his and Ashika’s daughter, not Rajat’s. The shock causes Rajat to lose his balance and fall. Arsh then breaks the handi and picks the makhan mishri (butter with crystal sugar).
The Thakkar family rushes to Rajat, tending to his injury. Sai, concerned, asks if he’s okay, while Savi tries to comfort him. Arsh approaches Sai, offering her the makhan mishri, but she refuses. Ashika insists that Sai shouldn’t reject prasad, so Arsh forcefully feeds it to her.
The host, unaware of the tension, expresses relief that Rajat isn’t seriously injured and congratulates Arsh for winning the competition, asking him to distribute gifts to the orphaned children. Arsh, making a show of his generosity, donates 11.111 lakhs and hints at his future plans, saying he will have his own child soon. He then walks away.
Tara fumes at Arsh and Ashika, while Sai asks Rajat once again if he’s alright. Rajendra instructs Lucky to bring the car, indicating it’s time for them to leave. However, the local women insist that the newly married couple, Rajat and Savi, stay and participate in the rasleela (dance). Despite her hesitation, Savi agrees on Tara and Rajendra’s encouragement. Throughout the festivities, Rajat is haunted by Arsh’s revelation about his affair with Ashika. Arsh, sensing his discomfort, returns and mocks Rajat, asking if his family has left and what about his daughter, Sai. Rajat, now seething with anger, warns Arsh to keep his daughter’s name out of his filthy mouth.
