Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 11th September 2024 Written Update
Kiyaan hands over some papers to Rajat, telling him to sign them. Rajat, feeling emotional, says that they are meeting after a long time and expresses how much he has missed Kiyaan, certain that Kiyaan must have missed him too. He notices Kiyaan playing alone and asks if he has no friends, reminiscing about how they used to play cricket together. Kiyaan replies that his interests have changed, and now he wants to become rich and unique, just like Arsh. He dreams of playing high-end sports like golf and horse riding. He then asks Rajat if he can provide him with everything he desires. Rajat assures him that he can, now that he has money. Kiyaan coldly responds by asking him to sign the papers. When Rajat reads the documents, he is shocked and asks what they are for. Kiyaan reveals that he wants to apply for a passport and change his name from Kiyaan Rajat Thakkar to Kiyaan Arsh Gujral before doing so.
Rajat, visibly hurt, reminds Kiyaan that he is his real father, while Arsh isn’t even his biological father and hasn’t married his mother yet. Kiyaan retorts, accusing Rajat of being a bad father who could never fulfill his needs, neither in the past nor now. With tears in his eyes, Rajat recalls the moment he first held Kiyaan and how it made him feel like he could conquer the world. Now, however, he faces the pain of his son being ashamed of him. Kiyaan interrupts his emotional plea, demanding he stop the drama and just sign the documents. Reluctantly, Rajat signs and asks if they can talk now, but Kiyaan dismisses him, saying he has no time and returns to playing his game. Rajat, heartbroken, recalls helping little Kiyaan button his shirt and notes that even now, Kiyaan struggles with the buttons. Kiyaan warns him to stay away, and Rajat leaves, deeply hurt.
Rajat arrives home, visibly upset, and asks the maid, Kavita, to make him some coffee. Savi informs him that Kavita isn’t home, his parents are out visiting Bappa, and Tara has gone to Canada, so she offers to make coffee for him. Rajat brushes it off, saying it’s fine, and tries to make coffee himself. Savi steps in to assist, but before they can finish, Sai calls them to help protect Bappa’s lamp. Both rush over, and in the process, Rajat burns his hand. Savi scolds him for not being careful and quickly applies ice to the burn. This triggers a memory for Rajat, where he recalls a past incident of burning his hand and calling out for Ashika. However, Ashika had coldly told him to handle it himself as she was busy. Later, Ashika had brought a playstation for Kiyaan, mentioning that Arsh had gifted it to him. Rajat had confronted her about taking help from Arsh, but Ashika had shot back, saying that she only wanted the best for their son, something Rajat could never provide. Snapping back to the present, Rajat, frustrated, yells at Savi. Sai, scared, runs to her room. Savi reprimands him for scaring a child and for his usual rude behavior.
Meanwhile, the Bhosale family discusses who will guard Bappa’s *akhand jyot* (eternal lamp) overnight. As Aman passes by, he overhears the conversation and volunteers to guard the lamp alongside Mrunmayee. Milind initially offers to guard it with his sister, but Harini suggests that Aman should take over since Milind has an early morning meeting, and Isha and Shantanu have college duties. Reluctantly, the family agrees. Aman and Mrunmayee then spend time together, talking about how talented musicians Rajat and Savi are.
Later, Rajat visits a bar and gets heavily drunk, reflecting on Kiyaan’s harsh words. He advises a waiter to always express love to his children, warning that if he doesn’t, they will drift away. In his drunken state, Rajat tries to open a beer bottle with his teeth, injuring his tongue and causing it to bleed. The concerned waiter uses Rajat’s phone to call Savi, informing her of his injury. Savi rushes to the bar and takes Rajat to a dentist. The dentist examines Rajat and suggests stitching his tongue after administering anesthesia. While waiting, Savi throws Rajat’s alcohol bottle away, but it accidentally hits a laughing gas cylinder, causing gas to leak. Both Savi and Rajat start laughing uncontrollably. As the dentist gives Rajat an injection, Rajat, in his semi-conscious state, tightly holds Savi’s hand and pleads with Kiyaan not to leave him, lamenting that there’s no one left to call him “papa.” Savi, observing this, thinks about how difficult meeting Kiyaan must have been for Rajat, but she reassures herself that Sai is still there to call him “papa.”
