Abhay returns to his room and sees Ganga, realizing she has irritated Sakshi a lot today, leaving her quite exhausted. He decides to remove Sakshi’s veil and goes back to her, thinking that Sakshi is enduring too much stress from Ganga. He plans to throw Ganga out of the house.
Sakshi wakes up with a plan to impress Kalyani so that Ganga can be easily removed. She heads to the washroom to get ready, only to find Ganga already inside. Ganga insists that Sakshi use the guest room toilet instead. Sakshi tells Ganga to come out, threatening to delay her work if she doesn’t. Ganga responds that she has finished her work and locked the gate. Sakshi resolves to get ready without taking a bath and turns off the bathroom light. She spreads oil on the floor and prepares a protein shake, unaware that Ganga has locked the gate from outside.
Chetan assigns Akshay to the accounts department, prompting Ganga to daydream. However, Akshay tells Chetan he’s a 10th-grade fail and unqualified for the role. Kalyani learns about Akshay’s education and blames Hema for it. Akshay reassures Kalyani that his mother taught him the value of hard work and expresses his readiness to manage the accounts. Chetan takes Akshay to the office to learn the ropes, much to Ritu’s delight.
Ganga tries to open the gate, worried about being late to give Amma ji her medicine. She finally manages to unlock it but falls onto Abhay due to the slippery oil. Ganga’s mangalsutra gets caught on Abhay’s shirt, shocking Sakshi. Sakshi offers Abhay a protein shake while he justifies that he slipped. Sakshi urges Abhay to break the mangalsutra, but Ganga warns her not to touch it, stating it is her life. Ganga ultimately frees the mangalsutra and tells Sakshi she doesn’t understand its significance. Angered, Sakshi storms out of the room.
Ritu notices Sakshi is upset and offers to help her. Sakshi confides in Ritu that she wants assistance in getting Ganga out of the house. Ritu and Kirti suggest that Sakshi participate in the Kul Devi puja, but she insists on asking Abhay for a grand reception instead. Kriti and Ritu explain the advantages of the puja and manage to convince Sakshi to go through with it. Grateful, Sakshi appreciates Kirti and thanks Ritu. She is now determined to perform the puja to defeat Ganga.
