Do Dooni Pyaar 21st September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Ritu hesitating as Neha starts the aarti. Ritu quickly interrupts, saying she wants to speak to her mother first. Akshay, trying to lighten the mood, insists she come inside, assuring her it’s all for the sake of their love. Neha completes the aarti and formally welcomes them. Akshay introduces himself, and Ritu is taken aback. Meanwhile, Lalita, Ritu’s mother, notices that her daughter hasn’t come home yet and decides to call her. As she prepares dinner for her son, she picks up the phone and dials Ritu’s number.
Back with Ritu, she’s still in disbelief. “Are you a doctor?” she asks Akshay. He shakes his head and replies, “No, I’m a social worker.” Ritu’s shock grows deeper. Elsewhere, Ritika, determined to scare Ganga, brings her dogs to the scene. She releases them towards Ganga, hoping they’ll chase her off, but Ganga calmly speaks to the dogs, asking them to be her friends. This only frustrates Ritika more. Just as things escalate, Abhay intervenes, rescuing Ganga from the dogs.
“Why did you save her like a hero?” Ritika snaps at Abhay. “You had a perfect opportunity to make her run away.” Abhay, seemingly indifferent, responds, “I don’t want the dogs touching her. They’re worth more than she is.” Ritika is still furious about the forced marriage. “You were forced to marry her. You should take action, or she will eventually come into your life. What will you do then?” Abhay is firm. “No, that’s not happening. I can’t live with an uneducated girl like her.”
Meanwhile, back with Ritu, she’s starting to unravel. “How could this happen?” she questions Akshay. “You lied to me. You said you were a doctor! You’re nothing but a fraud!” Tears well up in her eyes as she accuses him. Akshay tries to calm her down, explaining, “I didn’t mean to deceive you. You asked me for marriage, and I didn’t want to fight. Let’s talk.” Ritu, still suspicious, demands, “What are your qualifications? Are you an engineer or do you have an MBA?” Akshay, wanting to be honest, replies, “I don’t want to lie anymore. I didn’t pass 10th grade. That’s the truth.”
Ritu’s imagination runs wild as she pictures Ganga standing next to Dr. Abhay, introducing him as her husband. This only worsens her anxiety. “I want to go to my mother,” she cries. Akshay hugs her, assuring her, “I’ll take you to your mom tomorrow. Don’t cry.” Neha also tries to console her, and Ritu sips some water. “You’re just like Abhay’s double,” she mutters, dazed. Neha, confused, tells her to get some rest, and Akshay agrees, offering to help her get settled.
Neha then gets a phone call about a ticket for Vaishno Devi. “Okay, I’ll come outside and get it,” she says, stepping out. Meanwhile, Ritu, still uneasy, turns to Akshay. “Are you sure your name isn’t Abhay Kashyap?” she asks. He smiles and replies, “No, I’m Akshay Kumar. I can change my name if it helps. Why, what’s wrong?” Ritu suddenly feels dizzy. Akshay, concerned, tells her to rest, but just then, Lalita calls again, worried about her daughter’s whereabouts. Akshay steps aside to take the call.
Taking this as her chance, Ritu decides to make a run for it. As she rushes out, she sees Neha returning with the ticket and quickly lies to them both. Neha asks them to change clothes for the next event, and Ritu heads to her room, still plotting her next move.
Meanwhile, at Kalyani’s house, the situation with Ganga is causing a stir. The neighbors gather, gossiping about her presence in the lawn. Ritika, anxious, asks, “What are we going to do now?” Kalyani, staying composed, responds, “Don’t act like my mother. I’ve got this under control.” Dadi intervenes, asking Kalyani, “What will you tell them about Ganga?” Abhay chimes in, suggesting they explain the forced marriage, but Ritika objects, worried about their family’s reputation. “That’ll just ruin us,” she says. Kalyani, unfazed, counters, “The one who stands with the truth isn’t afraid of defamation.” She then instructs Chetan to take Ganga inside.
As Ganga is escorted, she notices the gathering women and makes a dash toward them. Kalyani watches her, curious about what Ganga plans to do next.
