Do Dooni Pyaar 18th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kalyani reprimanding Abhay. He responds, saying, “You don’t know her; she’s a thief and illiterate. She sold the diamond earrings for 2000 rupees. Sorry, but I don’t deserve this. I can’t tolerate her.” Kalyani retorts that while he may dislike her because she is uneducated, he has no right to raise his hand against her. She asks Ganga to come home for the family’s honor. Ganga replies, “Sorry, who will respect me when I don’t exist? This food stall is my self-esteem. He said no one will give me money if I beg. I earned 40 rupees today by selling food; I won’t leave this place.” Ritu calls Lalita and tells her to listen to the ongoing drama. Ganga insists, “Sorry, but I will not shut down my food stall. I will leave only when this relationship ends. I will prove that I am not a beggar.” She returns to her stall. Kalyani feels anger rising as she witnesses Kirti taunting Ganga. Ganga performs a puja for the stove and then closes the stall for the day before heading home. Abhay confronts Ganga and scolds her, ordering her to leave his room. Ganga replies, “I am your wife, and I respect our relationship. I won’t leave this house; I have a right to be here.” He insists, “I don’t accept you as my wife.”
Kalyani reflects that esteem and pride are closely related and admits she misjudged Ganga. Dadi interjects, stating, “No, Ganga is like pure gold, but gold needs to be shaped. How much more will she endure?” Kalyani adds, “It’s about my respect too; you’ll see how I remove her food stall.” Hema watches silently. Lalita visits Ritu, who asks about the diamond earrings. Lalita admits she lost them and finds it strange that Abhay had them. Ritu boasts, “I worked hard to steal them.” Lalita suggests, “Use your brain to strengthen your position in this house. Just befriend Kirti.” Ritu agrees, and they share a laugh.
Ganga prepares food for everyone, but Kalyani and Kirti refuse to eat. Chetan and others also leave. Akshay takes a bowl of food, but Ritu stops him, saying, “How can we eat when the elders have left?” Akshay puts the bowl back down. Kalyani mocks Ganga for running the food stall and walks away. Dadi has a word with Ganga, who expresses her intention to persuade them to eat. Dadi reassures her, saying Bindiya will deliver the food to their rooms.
The next morning, Ganga operates her food stall. Government officers arrive and demand that she move her stall. Ganga argues, “Why should I? This is my house, and I can have a stall outside it.” The officer instructs the men to remove the stall. Ganga pleads with them to stop. Kalyani arrives and smiles. Ganga appeals to her fans on social media for help. Neighbors gather, laughing at Ganga’s situation. She urges people to support her. The officer receives a call from his superior and agrees to let the food stall remain. The staff puts everything back in place, and Ganga thanks her fans for their support. The officer apologizes, and Ganga responds, “It’s okay; thanks for understanding.” The ladies continue to taunt Ganga. She chases after Kalyani, stating, “I don’t know any other way to be independent.” Kalyani retorts, “Fine, forget your dream of becoming my bahu.” Later, Ganga prays for Abhay.
The following morning, Ritu and Kirti wait for someone. Ganga goes to check the door when Abhay arrives, carrying an unconscious Sakshi in his arms.
