Do Dooni Pyaar 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Abhay filling sindoor in Ganga’s maang, completing their marriage. Meanwhile, Akshay and Ritu also tie the knot, congratulating each other afterward. The pandit blesses both couples and announces that the marriage rituals are completed. A man nearby says he has uploaded the video of the wedding. Lalita, feeling a sense of relief, hugs Ganga and thinks to herself that she has played her move well.
Kalyani, on the other hand, wakes up Piyush and grows worried as she realizes Abhay didn’t return home the previous night. She calls Chetan, panicking, and tells him Abhay hasn’t been in contact—his phone is off, and he isn’t at the temple or the hospital. She urges Chetan to find out what’s going on, fearing something bad. Chetan tries to calm her down but also hears the sound of a band playing outside.
They step outside to see Abhay, who is just removing his sehra. Kalyani, shocked, immediately questions him, asking about the girl next to him. She notices his hand is burned and anxiously asks what happened. Abhay, visibly distressed, confesses that he was forced to marry the girl standing beside him the previous night. He admits that he doesn’t even know her, as he hadn’t seen her face before the wedding. Everyone around them is left in shock as Kalyani lifts Ganga’s ghunghat, revealing her face. Ganga, in her mind, recognizes this as Ritu’s in-laws.
Meanwhile, Ritu and Akshay’s wedding wraps up, and they prepare to head home. Ritu takes a selfie with Akshay and remarks that they are now officially husband and wife. Akshay, though playing along, appears troubled. When Ritu asks what’s wrong, he tries to reassure her, saying they will soon leave, and proceeds to call for a decorated car to take them home.
Back at the scene, Abhay recalls seeing Ganga at the hospital and becomes more confused. Ganga, in her thoughts, is equally shocked, thinking that it was supposed to be Ritu marrying him, and now she’s found herself trapped in this forced marriage. She wonders what her next steps should be, knowing her mother had no idea about this situation.
Chetan, feeling frustrated, asks the gathered people to leave. Abhay then shows the marriage video to everyone, while Kalyani expresses her disappointment in Ganga, accusing her family of forcing the marriage on her son. She lashes out at Ganga, while Abhay declares he will not accept the marriage, even suggesting they call the police. Kalyani agrees, adding that marriage should only happen with mutual consent and happiness. Ganga breaks down in tears as Kalyani furiously orders the driver to get the car. She drags Ganga away, while Abhay, back home, vents his frustration by breaking things.
As Kalyani takes Ganga away, Abhay is left in tears. Meanwhile, Lalita is laughing to herself, feeling immense satisfaction and imagining the chaos she has caused in Kalyani’s household. She revels in her victory, thinking about how shocked Kalyani must be. Her daydream is interrupted when Kalyani arrives at her home, dragging Ganga behind her, and shouts angrily at Lalita. Lalita, still stunned, grabs hold of Ganga as the tension between the two families reaches its peak.
