Do Dooni Pyaar 13th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Abhay and everyone arriving home. Akshay expresses his gratitude to him for the car, mentioning that Ritu danced beautifully. Kalyani suggests that everyone change their clothes. Abhay replies that he isn’t interested and walks away. Dadi instructs the maid to prepare two sets. Ritu sees Abhay leaving and mistakenly thinks he is Akshay. She goes over and grabs his hand, saying he should hurry up for the competition. Ganga arrives for the competition, wearing high heels and jewelry. Dadi feels sorry for Ganga. Ganga offers a prayer. Akshay joins for the competition, and everyone assumes he is Abhay and smiles. Ganga addresses him, saying, “Akshay…”
Akshay wishes her the best of luck. Lalita prepares things for Ritu. Ritu pulls Abhay along to the competition, and upon seeing Akshay, she apologizes to Abhay. Abhay reprimands her.
Akshay comments that this issue is permanent since they look alike and jokes about tattooing Ritu’s name on his hand. Kalyani insists that’s unnecessary and encourages Abhay to take part in the competition. She explains her reasoning, and he eventually agrees. Ritu calls Lalita to confirm everything is ready. Lalita assures her they are set, and reminds her this is a great opportunity to humiliate Ganga. Kalyani announces that both daughters-in-law will prepare a dish while their husbands will compete, introducing a new rule: Ganga and Ritu will be blindfolded, and Akshay and Abhay will make a dish using Suran/elephant foot yam.
Kalyani blindfolds the bahus and the competition begins. Ganga instructs Abhay to fetch guava leaves. He goes to get them, while Ritu tells Akshay to chop the vegetable. Lalita guides Ritu in the process. Abhay returns with the guava leaves, and when Ganga stumbles, he catches her in his arms, prompting a smile from Akshay. Ritu urges him to chop the vegetable. Ganga, struggling to maintain her balance in the heels, asks Abhay to cut the vegetable into small pieces. She gives him instructions while Ritu receives misleading information over a call, which she relays to Akshay incorrectly. As Ganga and Abhay rush to finish their cooking, everyone eagerly awaits the food.
Kriti doesn’t answer her phone, so Kalyani decides to check on both couples. She informs them that only ten minutes remain, warning that whoever fails to cook must accept defeat.
