Deepika, along with her baby, goes to meet Chirag. Chirag tells her to speak up as he doesn’t want to engage in a long conversation. Deepika says she is there to seek justice for her daughter. Chirag asks if she is demanding a share of his property. Deepika replies that she wants him to acknowledge her daughter as his own. Chirag firmly states that he would never give his name to someone else’s child. Deepika warns him to be careful with his words and confronts him. Chirag remains adamant. Deepika warns him that this will be their last meeting, and soon, he will realize how lonely he is and how he has no one to comfort him. She walks away as the song Hamari Adhuri Kahani plays in the background. Neelima overhears their conversation from behind a pillar.
Lavanya returns home to find Neelima in tears. Neelima describes how Deepika had brought their granddaughter to meet Chirag, demanding that he give his name to her daughter. He refused, humiliated her, and sent her away. Lavanya, furious, confronts Chirag for his cruel behavior. Chirag stands firm, saying the child is not his, and he will never accept her. Lavanya warns that one day he will realize his mistake and deeply regret it. Baby One starts crying. They both try to calm her down. Chirag asks Lavanya to trust him. Lavanya questions why, if he is so concerned about this baby, he does not show the same concern for Baby One. Chirag says he doesn’t want to discuss it. Lavanya walks away in tears, leaning on Omkar for support. Omkar asks if they made a mistake by bringing Baby One into their home.
The next day, Deepika brings her baby to Chirag’s hospital for a vaccination. The nurse informs her that the baby’s file, listing father’s name as Chirag Mittal and mother’s name as Deepika Mittal, has been found. Chirag overhears this and confronts her for using his name. Deepika calmly states that it is her baby’s right and dares him to tear the file if he can. Chirag says he won’t stoop to her level and walks away, humiliating her further. Mishka watches and enjoys the drama. She goes to Chirag’s cabin and suggests that he may view Deepika as a challenger and, on a subconscious level, might be competing with her. Chirag denies it, but Mishka presses on, asking why he adopted an abandoned baby without informing the authorities. Chirag responds that it was out of humanity. Mishka points out that he even got the baby vaccinated. Chirag walks off, brushing it aside, but secretly wonders if Mishka might be right. Mishka grins, pleased with herself for manipulating him and plans to cause more trouble for him.
A junior doctor informs Chirag that a young patient is having a heart attack and needs immediate medical attention. Chirag, looking unwell, says he will attend to the patient. The doctor expresses concern about his condition, but Chirag insists he is fine, attends to the patient, and administers an injection. He receives a phone call and leaves, leaving the patient unattended. Mishka enters, administering an overdose of medication to the patient. The patient’s condition worsens. Mishka calls the hospital dean and informs them that Chirag gave an overdose to the young patient. The dean arrives and questions the junior doctor. Mishka records their conversation and calls the media to create a scandal at the hospital. She smiles to herself, thinking that Chirag is finally in serious trouble.
