Deepika checks the flower decorations and notices a red tape on one of the vases. Curious, she walks toward it to inspect when Sonali quickly pulls her away, praising her for the beautiful decorations. Neelima and Payal approach and suggest that Deepika should rest until the function starts. Deepika, however, insists that she wants to finish some final touches to welcome Jahnvi, and then she will rest. The three of them walk away. Deepika gets busy with her work when Chirag approaches her and starts getting romantic. Feeling shy, Deepika blushes.
A little while later, Lavanya arrives at the venue with Neelima. Neelima comments that the house has never looked this beautiful, mentioning that their guest was quietly snapping pictures of the decor. She praises Deepika for her excellent work. The Agarwal family enters. Deepika greets them by showering flowers and asks where Jahnvi is. Jahnvi steps forward, calling Deepika “didi” (elder sister). Deepika is overwhelmed with happiness upon hearing this and compliments Jahnvi, saying she looks stunning. Neelima and Lavanya also chime in, praising Jahnvi. Jahnvi thanks Lavanya for trusting her but soon begins badmouthing Deepika. Lavanya sternly warns Jahnvi not to break her trust, or she will regret it.
Meanwhile, Shobha and Manorama mischievously distract the food servers and sneak food for themselves. Deepika then organizes a fun game, asking everyone to choose a chit and find their dance partner. Prithvi picks his chit and discovers Jahnvi’s name. Saloni follows and finds Neelima as her partner. Chirag takes his turn and picks Ashutosh’s name. Omkar, not wanting a random partner, volunteers to join the game. Lavanya picks her chit next but hesitates, saying she wants to choose again. Payal interjects, saying she will reveal Lavanya’s partner—and it turns out to be Lavanya’s lovely daughter-in-law, Deepika. Lavanya frowns while Deepika looks nervous. Manorama and Shobha announce they will also pick a chit and join the dance, but Lavanya insists they should rest instead.
Mishka, on the other hand, harbors resentment, thinking that Deepika is a stain in Chirag’s life and vows to remove her. The mehendi ceremony for Jahnvi begins, and Deepika writes Prithvi’s name on Jahnvi’s hands. In a sly move, Jahnvi intentionally trips Deepika, causing her to fall and spoil the mehendi. She immediately blames Deepika, making her feel guilty. Lavanya takes the opportunity to scold Deepika.
