Deepika expresses her sorrows in front of God’s idol, questioning why Chirag is upset with her. Lavanya comforts her and suggests she go back to her room. Deepika says she doesn’t understand why Chirag is angry with her and feels he no longer wants to talk to her. Lavanya reassures her that Chirag is stubborn, just like her, and it’s Deepika’s responsibility to calm him down. Chirag returns home and feels relieved when he sees Deepika in the room. He wonders if she doesn’t want to stay with him, but he still wants to be with her. He asks if she’s had anything to eat. Deepika replies that she was waiting for him.
Chirag tells her she shouldn’t stay hungry, as it’s not good for her or the baby. Deepika softly says it’s their baby. Chirag remembers Deepika telling Siddharth that she had to stay for their baby and becomes frustrated, thinking that Deepika is lying so easily. He walks out of the room, taking his file with him. He feels irritated by how easily Deepika manipulates situations. Lavanya approaches him, noticing something is wrong, and asks why he’s hiding his injury. Chirag insists he’s fine and leaves. Lavanya wonders what’s really bothering him.
Mishka contacts a goon and hires him to kill Deepika. The next morning, Siddharth calls Deepika and asks her to attend a pooja at the temple for his sister’s death anniversary. Deepika agrees. Chirag overhears the conversation and feels deeply hurt. He visits Mishka, heavily intoxicated, and vents about how much Deepika’s actions have hurt him and how badly he wants to forget the memories of her wrongdoings. Mishka records his words and sends them to the goon, instructing him to kill Deepika for Chirag’s sake. She then messages Deepika from Chirag’s phone, asking her to meet him at a specific location. Deepika arrives there and waits for Chirag.
The goon arrives and tries to run her over with his jeep, but a crowd of people notices and saves her just in time. The mob beats the goon for trying to harm an innocent woman. Deepika shows concern for the goon, and he apologizes to her. Deepika tells him she would have taken him to the hospital if she didn’t need to meet her husband. The goon warns her not to meet her husband and reveals that he was hired by Chirag to kill her. He shows her a voice recording and the money he received online. Deepika stands frozen, shocked by the revelation.
