Deepika asks Chirag if Mishka is someone special to him. Chirag replies, “All best friends are special.” Deepika then questions why he never mentioned Mishka to her. Sensing some jealousy, Chirag teases her. Deepika confidently says, “My husband loves me deeply, so it’s my enemies who should be jealous, not me.” Chirag shares that he sent a job request to Mishka, hoping she accepts it, and assures Deepika that she would like Mishka.
Meanwhile, Mishka throws a party for her friends and reveals that she’s been in a long-distance relationship with Chirag for seven years. Her friends commend her for maintaining the relationship when most couples don’t last that long. With excitement, Mishka pours champagne in front of a photo of herself and Chirag, announcing that she’s coming back to meet him because he can’t stay away from her anymore. Her friends congratulate her on the reunion.
Later, Chirag meets his college buddies, who jokingly complain that he hasn’t been in touch and didn’t invite them to his wedding. Chirag apologizes, explaining the wedding was rushed. One friend mentions they always thought he and Mishka were a couple and would eventually marry, as they were always together. Chirag laughs it off, saying they’re just close friends like anyone else. He invites them to Prithvi’s wedding and promises to introduce them to Deepika. His friends, in return, insist that Chirag and Deepika attend their masquerade party.
Mishka, overjoyed at the thought of meeting Chirag again, starts planning. Her uncle expresses concern, urging her to rethink her decision, reminding her that Chirag has moved on and is now married. Mishka’s obsession with Chirag is revealed as she shows her darker, psychotic side. She declares she’ll kill Chirag’s wife if necessary and be with him forever, recalling how even psychiatric treatments couldn’t cure her fixation on Chirag.
Deepika, preparing for the upcoming party, calls her costume designer to select dresses. Shobha and Manorama, upon seeing the price tags, become flustered and insult the designer. Jahnvi steps in, asking Deepika to take care of the situation. Deepika gently leads Shobha and Manorama to have some food, diffusing the tension. She then resumes looking at a dress, but the designer advises her to choose a different color that suits her better. Deepika explains she was merely checking. Jahnvi, ever supportive, insists that every color looks good on Deepika and encourages her to make a selection. Deepika hesitates, but Jahnvi calls on Payal and Neelima to help convince Deepika, smiling as they encourage her.
Later, as Chirag approaches his car, he notices balloons tied to it. He looks around curiously before getting inside. From another car, Mishka watches him, vowing to win him over this time for sure. Chirag heads home, calling Deepika to inform her that they’ll be attending a masquerade party and asks her to get ready. He then calls Payal, asking her to help Deepika prepare for the event.
In the precap: During the party, Mishka sets fire to Deepika’s dress. Chirag, in his attempt to save Deepika, burns his hand. Deepika feels hurt when she overhears someone saying that if Mishka had been there, she would have protected Chirag.
