Deepika pleads with Lavanya to stop harboring resentment towards her in front of Chirag for the sake of their relationship. She falls at Lavanya’s feet, expressing that she would do anything for Chirag and his family, begging her to agree. Lavanya responds by telling her to serve water to Chirag, and she will send soup for him. The next morning, Deepika brings coffee to Chirag, who becomes romantic. Deepika mentions that Lavanya and Neelima are not at home. Chirag reveals that today is Omkar’s birthday, and every year Lavanya visits the temple early in the morning to pray for him. Deepika asks why he didn’t inform her sooner; she wants to do something special for her father.
Omkar returns home from his morning walk, surprised to find birthday balloons, flowers, and ghevar sweets. Nostalgically, he recalls how his mother used to serve him ghevar. He assumes Payal prepared it and begins searching for her. Deepika enters with his favorite flowers and wishes him a happy birthday. Omkar states that while sons may be good, only daughters can truly express their love for their fathers; he’s grateful to have two daughters now. Deepika mentions she had called Payal to find out his favorite things and requests him to prepare a feast for the family tonight to celebrate his birthday. He agrees. She expresses regret for not knowing about his birthday earlier, or she would have gotten him a gift. He replies that all he wants is a grandchild from her. Deepika leaves, feeling emotional.
Lavanya returns from the temple and serves him prasad. She claims that, like every year, she wished him a happy birthday first. Omkar reminds her that Deepika was the first to wish him this time and even served him ghevar, urging her to try it too. She says she will later. He goes to get ready while she heads to Chirag’s room to offer him prasad. Deepika informs her that Chirag is in the bathroom and asks her to give her the prasad, promising to pass it on to Chirag directly. She drapes her pallu. Lavanya spots Deepika’s hospital file and drops the prasad into Deepika’s pallu. Deepika beams with happiness. Chirag returns from the bathroom, and Deepika tells him how joyful she is today, asking him to postpone his trip to Delhi since she is preparing a feast for Omkar’s birthday.
Omkar gets ready. Lavanya presents him with a special watch and reveals her belief that Deepika is pregnant. Omkar is elated and says he will confront Chirag and Deepika about keeping this good news a secret. Lavanya stops him, suggesting they should let them share it in their own time. Omkar asks her to accept Deepika and her children, gifting her a sari and requesting that she wear it whenever she embraces them wholeheartedly. Lavanya opens the box and is shocked to find a black sari. She thinks to herself that Omkar must know she dislikes black, yet he chose this sari to prompt her acceptance of Deepika. The family gathers to celebrate Omkar’s birthday. Lavanya approaches them wearing the black sari. Chirag compliments her, saying she looks beautiful, noting they have never seen her in black before. Omkar expresses his gratitude. Lavanya tells Chirag that while she can’t forget the past, a mother’s heart cannot help but love her child, promising to accept Chirag’s child. Chirag appears nervous while Deepika feels elated.
