Chandini/Chandu wins a fancy dress competition wearing a doctor’s costume. Deepika, overcome with emotion, hugs her and says she looks exactly like… Chandini asks, “Like whom?” Deepika goes silent. Balwant says that Chandu will make them proud by becoming a doctor and will treat Deepika’s illness. Deepika mentions that she wants to treat her mother soon, and for that, she needs to take Deepika to a doctor in Jodhpur.
The next morning, Chandu leaves for Jodhpur alone without informing Deepika. Deepika grows tense when she doesn’t see Chandu at home. Chitra informs her that Chandu’s bag, piggy bank, and shoes are missing. Deepika says she must have gone to Jodhpur to meet Chirag, but she doesn’t want her to meet her father, who had refused to accept her. She decides to visit Jodhpur to stop Chandu from meeting Chirag.
Chandu overhears a truck driver talking about delivering goods to Jodhpur and quietly hides in the back of the truck. When the police stop the truck at a check post in Jodhpur, Chandu sneaks out and starts searching for Chirag. She walks aimlessly in the middle of the road. Fortunately, Lavanya drives by in her car, and the driver slams on the brakes upon seeing the girl in the road. Lavanya gets out of the car and scolds the girl. They both recognize each other.
Lavanya asks what Chandu is doing there and if she informed her mother. Chandu replies no and requests Lavanya take her to “Doctor Saheb.” Lavanya asks for her mother’s phone number, but Chandu can’t remember her mother’s name. Lavanya is impressed by Chandu’s sweet talk and agrees to take her to Chirag.
Neelima gets Ragini ready for school and mentions that since Lavanya left early for work, she is helping her out today. Mishka enters to take Ragini’s DNA sample. Neelima questions why Mishka visits them so often. Mishka says she missed Ragini and came to meet her. She pulls Ragini’s hair, causing the girl to wince in pain. Neelima scolds Mishka, and just then, Chirag walks in and takes Mishka with him.
Deepika, accompanied by Balwant, heads toward Jodhpur, reflecting on Chirag’s refusal to accept Chandu. She tells Balwant she must reach there quickly to stop Chandu from meeting her father. Deepika arrives in Jodhpur. Ragini prays to God, and a flower falls at her feet. She happily tells Neelima that she had prayed to meet her mother soon, and the flower falling is a sign. She decides to keep it in a book and give it to her mother when they meet. Neelima and Prithvi are moved by her words.
